The free Wi-Fi was pretty good. But the rest: a disaster. Narrow sites. Electric hookup on the wrong side. The dirtiest CG we have found in 4.5 years of fulltiming. Cigarette butts, drink containers, nut shells, food wrappers: you name it and it was on the ground here. With the general filth, we dared not use the pool. And the railroad 1,000 feet away: I put in my ear plugs after the first train at 8:30 p.m. A rip-off at even $17/night. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Rundown park (not even a park really, a few sites full of weeds and bugs next to a motel). Water/sewer on one side and electric on the other side of the sites. Water spigot under the ground and had to clean it of bugs/mud prior to use, Is part of a motel, sites next to parking lot and traffic coming and going. Mostly full-time people here, a lot of alcohol and late night partying the one nite we spent here. Would bypass next time. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Operated in conjunction with a motel located next door. Narrow sites. Railroad very close. We had no water when we arrived but fortunately it was restored in a few hours. The water connection was under water when we left due to the location in a hole in the ground and rain causing no choice but to contaminate our water hose. Very dirty campground. Not a pleasant stay and would not do it again. Restrooms and shower located in the motel beside the pool - adequate at best. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
This is part of a National 9 Motel and all the employees at the desk and the Outlaw Cafe were real nice. Pool and restroom were clean and showers were a little small but clean also. We only overnited here. A couple of the sites were pretty permanents, but neat. Sites are gravel, pretty level but very narrow. Would stay here again as it's the only game in town, inexpensive, nice folks and the cafe is very good, especially breakfast! We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
This is a basic stop on the road. Gravel spaces with concrete patio. Located next to the National 9 Inn at the South end of Wellington. It is in the desert, so no trees for shade. There is a Walmart in Price so it is not a bad stop for those that want hookups and also want to take on supplies. The indoor pool was very nice. The rest rooms and showers in the pool area were clean. There appeared to be a couple of long time stays, but most were travelers moving through. Traffic at night was not heavy and the traffic noise did not seem excessive. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
