Our first impression which took place before arriving was disorganization. Considering camping season is winding down and management of reservations should be a breeze, there was confusion on the phone when we called to confirm and when we got to the front desk regarding our reservations and then what sites we would be on. Our impression of the campground overall was very little seems to be done to maintain the place. Trash was scattered on our site, numbers on the posts were not visible to even find our site (no site maps were handed out upon arrival) and drainage seemed to be an issue in the area we were at. Water contained sulfur and when showering or washing dishes the eggy smell was overpowering. We noticed a night & day difference between the sections of property that housed the seasonals and where they stuck us. It was obvious after talking to some of the seasonals there that they alone are responsible for the beautiful appearance of those sections of the property and management does very little upkeep. It might have been a very nice property years ago...tennis courts are there but the fencing is falling down and the kids use it to ride their bikes on or play basketball. One of the campers in our group did not have a fire ring on their site. They mentioned it to someone in the office and they said to just take one from another site. I know the season is winding down but does that mean that our experience has to be less than someone who stays in June? I don't believe we will go there again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
