Very quiet, calm place to relax and enjoy the fall outdoors weather. Location is close to many places we enjoy visiting. Staff is friendly and knows who their repeat customers are year after year and accommodate you. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

My husband and I loved this place; the kids were not so enthusiastic because they said it was "boring" (I thought it was peaceful!). There is no pool and no planned activities, but it is right on the West River so the kids waded and played in the water. The showers were clean and free, the owners were friendly and helpful, the whole place is spacious and quiet, and the price was right. If you are looking for nightlife and activity, this is probably not the place for you. But if you want to see herons, mink and fish, beautiful river and mountain scenery, and would like some peace and quiet you will like it here. No problems with dogs or noisy neighbors, other than the campground across the river (Camperama), which had some partyers but they quieted down by 11 pm. We would camp here again. Nearby Brattleboro is a fun town and the Townshend Dam & Lake Recreation area is a great and free place to spend the day. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
