Beautiful large wooded sites, but took a little time to get into. Very quiet and peaceful. Nice restrooms especially the new ones. Could use more showers in the first bath house. Nice programs for kids. Would definitely camp here again. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
Primitive state campground with excellent sites that are well cared for, and cleaned before arrival. There are new restrooms and showers being built, and programs for all age groups that were well received. Rangers would always be there to help you. The lake was clean and all types of boats permitted. We plan to stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
The only thing that keeps this campground from getting a perfect 10 for a state park are a few tight spots along the interior roads. It is a beautiful heavily treed park. There are not very many big rig sites but enough if you don't mind a little challenge to get in. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
A true State Park gem as long as your RV is not too big. Access roads are narrow in places & there are only a few sites that can accommodate a 40' plus vehicle. Well worth the 2.5 mile access road drive. Located in dense forest, seeing your neighbour is very difficult from most sites. The staff is very helpful & maintain the park to the highest standards. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
