We couldn't have ask for more. Friendly staff who went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. The place was quiet and friendly. The water was good. There is lots of shade and open space for the children and dogs. We can't wait to go back. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Camp is rather rundown and seems to be populated by full-time residents. No real amenities beyond a minimal swing set. Rusty water and filthy bathhouse. However, it was quiet. We camped here in a Truck Camper.
This campground is a diamond in the rough. The manager and maintenance man were both very friendly and helpful! This park was built 40+ years ago, with limited improvements but decent maintenance since. Consequently, big rig access is somewhat limited and may take some careful maneuvering. There are a few pull-through sites available, but getting a big rig into them may be a little dicey. The bathroom/shower facilities were clean but definitely show their age. There are a good number of long-termers here, but they were friendly and not rowdy. If you want to just kick back and relax, or want to visit the Culpeper area including any of the numerous wineries, this is a fine place to do it. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Campground is quite a distance from 29N/S. Drive is down a few country roads. It is older and is somewhat rundown, but is quiet. Most sites are clean and long enough for our 37' 5th wheel. There are quite a few fulltime sites, some seasonal. We left after only a month because they don't have 50 amp sites and kept throwing the breaker. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Campground is in Need of Major Repairs, office and store is a joke. Owner is more geared towards monthly customers. No entertainment for Kids! All buildings, are in need of major repair. Restrooms are Filthy, and Outdated! Water is a Dark Brown in Color. We camped here in a camper.
