Gentry’s Landing, Narrows, Virginia- This is a very small overnight type campground owned by the Lions Club of Narrows, VA. It is situated on the New River and is extremely picturesque. The New River is a premier fishing and rafting river that flows from South Carolina up into West Virginia. Almost all sights are seasonal sites. There are 5 sites available for nightly rental with full hook-ups (30 amps) and cable TV. We stayed here 6 nights at a nightly cost of $19. The campground is located about 17 miles east of Princeton, WV off (on) US 460. Since it is immediately off of US 460, you’ll hear highway noise. The bathrooms are VERY clean. No Wi-Fi is available. I went into Narrows next to the MacArthur Hotel to make a connection. If you’re looking for camping in Bluefield or Princeton, WV, there isn’t any. This and Pipestem State Park are as close as you’ll be able to get. This is a very good lay over type campground at a reasonable cost. We'd stay here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
