Excellent park & cg....will definitely be back in 2006. VA has the nicest state parks i've seen in a while. We camped here in a Tent Trailer.

This is a very nice and clean campground on Staunton River. Secured gate at nite. The largest swimming pool I have ever seen and very clean with life guards on duty. Also has a food bar to get a good lunch. Swimming is free to campers and they also have a day use for non campers. Park is big and has picnic areas and boating and fishing. Sites are clean and seperated by timbers in wooded area. Has water and electric hook-ups and a dump station. We will visit here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
