For the price paid to camp this place is junky. The sites not well maintained and the bathhouse dirty. The best thing about this place is the swimming lake, the kids love it. (water cold) The owners need to update the campground, roads, and playgrounds. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Pretty neat place - its biggest draw is the huge "inland beach" and lake complex. It's a sand-bottom pool with several water slides (big and small) and tons of room to spread out. There is a large game room, horseback riding, mini golf, and all kinds of contests and activities (all of which is open to the public for a fee). There are cabins to rent as well as tenting and RV sites, some of which might be a tight fit for a huge rig but our 30' trailer was no problem. Many sites are deep in the woods but the trails are good for walking or biking to the pool area. The bathhouse was clean, the staff was friendly and helpful (even hiked out to our potential site and called us back to confirm we'd fit). Small camp store has the bare essentials. Interesting campground in that there are a lot of people, mostly at the pool area, but you can retreat to your site for some peace and quiet. Lots to do in the area - we would definitely return to this campground. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
