This campground is located on a ridge above Lake Moomaw in the National Forest. The lake is absolutely beautiful for boating. But, you can't see the lake from the campground site, unless you are tent camping. Most of the campers appeared to be fisherman, hunters, and other outdoorsmen. It was very quiet. The campground managers were helpful and friendly. We camped here in a Tent Trailer.
