This is one of the better military campgrounds; nothing fancy, just long level pull-thrus, good hookups, good free Wi-Fi, all in a quiet setting. This time of year there's no host and only half of the Famcamp is open, and although it's the side with the trees, satellite reception is still good since they're mostly bare. Good Verizon cell and data. Base aircraft fly infrequently, and even at night they're relatively quiet. Not much close to the base, but a five-mile drive takes you to a Wal-Mart and a large casino. Nice commissary, walking trails, and BX complex. Worth the moderate trip off the interstate. We camped here in a Motorhome.
A nice, quiet military FamCamp. Level, gravel, pull-through sites, excellent WiFi, clean facilities, low cost laundry and a friendly, competent camp host. Good base exchange and commissary. Plenty of dining choices nearby, or more 10 miles in the city of Spokane. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This is a Military Campground open to only Active, National Guard, Reservists, Retired, 100% DAV, and DoD Civilians. First impressions are the lasting ones'!! The camp hosts were very helpful and informative. It is apparent the hosts take pride in the service they provide. Green grass attests to their efforts! Long term campers apparently are grouped together on one side of the camp [which is to be expected]. The restrooms and showers were clean, and well maintained. Only two washers and dryers, could use more for a camp this size, but they were modern and clean. We will stay here again when in the area. We camped here in a Motorhome.
