If you are looking for an inexpensive down-to-basics campground, Kettle Falls Campground is it. Located right next to Lake Roosevelt, you can have a site "on the lake". But you are up above the water by several feet and will have to climb down a steep bank to get to it! It is still a beautiful setting though with lots of pine trees for shade, clean bathrooms with flushing toilets (just no showers), and a very nice boat launch/marina for boat lovers. Sites are all paved, but not overly long, and the pull-through sites are narrow and tight. Next time we go we will pick a back-in site over a pull-through. A swimming beach is advertised on the website, but that encompasses the entire Lake Roosevelt Area. There is NO swimming beach at this campground. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
Easy access for main highway. Curb appeal is not at this RV park. There are old trailers and boats at the entrance. There are allot of long term parked RVs. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. There is a club house, laundry and RV supplies store. If you want a base camp to tour the area, this park is OK. If you want to have activities at the park this is not the park. It is a quiet park and the other campers were friendly. We would stay here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
The park is in poor condition with a lot of permanent units that bring down the quality. The roads and sites are gravel. They charged $2/day extra for 50 Amp. WiFi is available near the office (ask the owner or campground host for the password). The park was quiet from Saturday to Sunday, because the nearby railroad did not work. The park was OK for one night, but I wouldn’t stay longer. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Nice clean campground with gravel interior roads and campsites. A well stocked store with many RV items in stock. The park is close to a railroad so it was sort of noisy at night. Other than that, it was well maintained and no noisy guests. We would stay there again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
