Was tent camping this time for a weekend. Bathrooms were a disgrace, only one toilet worked in womens room and none in the mens room men had to come in to womens to use toilet. Only one shower in each bathroom for the whole campground. Was camping with a group and we unintentionally over paid the owner Harry by several hundred dollars. He made himself really scarce so this could not be rectified prior to us leaving. In repeated attempts to call the campground later, the man that the check was given to was 'mysteriously' not there. Once when the phone was answered (maybe by him) He refused to say that it was him and even refused to say that it was Whitaker campground even though the phone log showed plainly that the number dialed was the campground number and it was the number that had been dialed prior with success. No wonder this campground does not get written up in the major rv campground books. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This campground is very close to Cass Scenic Railroad.We just overnighted here. Staff came by to collect fee and answer questions,very friendly. Also had piles of free firewood for guests to use.Not many amenities, but a nice rural area. We camped here in a Motorhome.
