The City of St. Albans is to be commended for such a beautiful park, and for making it available for small RVs. There is a donation box, and a 2 night limit. The view of the river is beautiful, and the park is on the bank of the river. There is a busy highway beside the park, with stores and restaurants across the street. There is 120v 15 amp electrical service, but no 30-50 amp service. the only water is available at the dump station, so you can refill your water supply tank. The bathrooms had graffiti, but appeared clean, but no showers. There is a 2 day stay limit. I stayed 2 days, and would love to return, if ever in the Charleston, WV area again. The fee was free but there is a donations box. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This is a tiny park between a busy street and a River. There are 15 amp electrical outlets. There are no showers--but there are toilets. The facilities are locked by 8 P.M. The fee is a free will donation. It is close to a grocery store, K-Mart and a McDonald's. 38.38834 -81.82655 1477 Maccorkle Ave. I loved seeing the barges on the River. I would stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
