I would not recommend this place for a family with children. We had the worst experience of our time here. The site we had was on a slope, couldn't enjoy being outside to play games or eat our meals. We had to do that all inside. You are on top of each other, fire pits are next to your truck on both sides since the campers are on top of each other. They have a list of rules, but don't follow them whatsoever. I realized they told me, "No such thing as quiet time." They were right: the people across from us were up till 3:00 every night, blasting music and getting drunk. There was no one here patrolling the place so the people were just relieving themselves out in daylight outside. My kids got to see more than they should have. We left during the day just because of that. The bathrooms were a mud hole after the rain and no one bothered to come and clean them up. We will never go back and will let as many people know it's not a place to go. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
It is out of season and all the amenities are closed but it is still a lovely place, and of course is much cheaper now. Wi-Fi was excellent at the pull-thru sites by the storage garages, the restrooms were clean and smart. The place looked well cared for and the sites were level. There are a number of seasonal sites but all are clean and tidy. We would return. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
I love this campground! They have so much for the kids to do. The pool is great. I have never had a problem with noise or neighbors at night. I will keep coming back here. The owners are always so helpful. My kids love the jumping pillow and are always asking, "When can we go back Mom!" We camped here in a Motorhome.
You got to love kids in order to stay here. There are kids everywhere. Camp has a new jumping pillow which is quite an attraction for the kids. Parking was on grass, but with good drainage, were very good even though it rained. On site restaurant/bar was full in the evening with live (disc jockey) entertainment. This campground is for the younger generation. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Perched high on a hill east of Cassville, this park has large sites and lots to do. There's a jumping pillow for kids, a swimming pool with fountains, a snack bar-type restaurant, a bar, hiking trails, a playground, and live music on the weekends. The bathrooms were large and very clean. The laundry was a bargain. It's very kid-friendly. The walls are lined with an impressive collection of animal mounts. The Wi-Fi doesn't work very well; it's only available inside the main building and was shutting down frequently. There was a fair amount of garbage on the ground, remaining from the July 4 holiday weekend (this was Monday night). We camped here in a Motorhome.
The images on their web-site are very appealing but don't let it fool you. There are dogs running freely and loud, irresponsible drunks at all hours. We and our young children were stuck next to a bunch of drunks for the weekend. Swearing, bongos and fireworks shot from a pistol kept us up all night. Our dog was leashed and yet were were constantly watching for other dogs that would wander into our site. Calls to the management to ask them to talk to the people next to us (since they wouldn't quiet down at 4am when we talked to them) were met with the response of, "Guess we should have told you what kind of place this was when you registered". It's a shame; nice facilities but the place is lousy with mean and nasty rednecks that have no regard for wholesome family fun. Don't waste your time and money on this place!!! We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
