Overall, this is a nice park. Easy to get into the sites, and the staff is friendly. The sites are open without any trees, but are large with plenty of room to spread out and enjoy yourself. The site had a great view of Lake Winnebago, and the sunsets were amazing. The negative would be the live band that played Saturday night, as they were very loud. We were several rows over from where they were playing and still had to yell to hear each other. They also went almost 30 minutes longer than they were slated to go (they were supposed to end at 10pm). We would stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Lake View Campground is a very well manicured campground with a lot of amenities. There appears to be a densely wooded section for seasonal folks and people with tents and smaller units. Were we stayed was a field with no trees, well groomed gravel roads and gravel/grass sites. Water and Electric only (which seems to be typical of Wisconsin) and a good distance from each other. The view of the lake is SPECTACULAR! There is a SUPER nice off leash dog park with agility equipment available for your dog to play on which was REALLY nice. There's a play ground for kids, a pool, and a bar and grill that looked really nice. They have a fish fry on Friday nights which might be fun to try. It's a bit pricy, but it's walking distance from your camper so it's probably worth it. Each site has a wooden picnic table and a fire ring. The staff was SUPER friendly and helpful. They have a bunch of pretty strict rules, which made us a little nervous. However, they seem to have a "common sense" approach to enforcement. Example: They said "no parking on the grass between sites". People did anyway, but kept it to a minimum and were respectful to other campers and it wasn't a problem. So, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE don't abuse this flexibility if you choose to stay here. I wish they would have talked to our neighbors about the loud music, but it really wasn't a big deal. On to the bad! The sites were less then level. I was able to level without any blocks or anything like that, but my wheels were off the ground on one side and I was STILL leaning a bit. I saw a LOT of people with blocks of wood and "legos" propping up their rigs. Not having sewer is annoying. Bathrooms near the camp sites are porta potty's. The plastic ones. Any they WERE stinky. Whew. So we didn't use them. I'm hoping that is a temporary situation and they will be eventually building "Real" bathrooms, OR putting in the sewer hookups. Sites are a little short. My in-law's 40 foot RV fit, but it left no room to park a car. They have overflow parking near by, but no one likes to do that. Overall, this place is SUPER. It was hard to come up with anything bad to say about it. We would definitely stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
