Rate is based on weekly rate. We stayed for 8 days. Campground is in a nice city park. During the week there were very few sites occupied. On the weekend there were only a few available sites. There are four pull-through sites and the rest are back in. The pads are gravel and each has a picnic table and fire ring. Only about half the sites have sewer. Most of these are in the western portion of the campgrounds. The sewer connection is protected by a plastic ring that makes it difficult to make connections. The restrooms are dated but clean. There are numerous trees in and around the campground so satellite TV reception is iffy. We found three sites where it was possible. Verizon is three bar 4G. The park has a nice walking path, several playgrounds and sport fields. There is a disc golf course. There isn't much to Dorchester itself but it is a short drive to larger communities with more amenities. The nearest laundry is in Medford. Don't miss the cheese makers in the area. For a full hookup 50 amp site under $20 a night, this is a very nice place. We will camp here next time we are in the area. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We arrived about 8 PM on a Saturday night. Park seemed pretty full but after speaking with management on previous occasions, we knew to look for site#00 as our race trailer is 44' long. Without this knowledge, we would have had to walk to find an available site. We filled out an envelope with our info and cash and dropped it in the deposit box. Our back-in site worked well but we could not find the water spigot. Site 1 was empty so we connected to it for a bit. As we were only here for a quick overnight, we did not walk around or use any facilities. The park was very nicely maintained from what we could see. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Nice city park campground. I stayed here for three weeks while our daughter was in the hospital. Staff is very friendly and happy to help you out if needed. Nice pond and in the fall hundreds of geese fly in at sunset. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
