We have stayed at Blackhawk Lake numerous times in the past years. It is a very nice, quiet, family oriented campground. If you are looking for a pool, gameroom, and structured activities - this is not your campground. If you are looking for a quiet, friendly place in the middle of nowhere with a lake for boating, swimming (nice beach) and fishing then this is your campground. The sites are open but shady, and huge - there aren't too many sites you couldn't put 2 units on if you wanted. Very well patrolled and kept neat. Picnic areas and snack bar at the beach as well. Usually booked early in the year and if you go with any frequency you may see the same people. No seasonal sites. Most sites are very easy to level on. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
