Sites were grassy with just a few 50 amp sites. Sites were designed with horse trailers in mind. Lots of activity the weekend we were there. Price was for more than 30 amp power. Need good pads to keep from sinking into the ground. Most sites not very level front to back. We camped here in a Motorhome.
The park is close to town. The sites with shade are very uneven and just soft grass. I had to re-level the trailer due to sinking stabilizers. Showers were available, but there was no hot water after the first day. Even though it was close to town, probably would not stay here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
We needed an overnight spot and were pleased to find this easily located fairground in Marshfield with water & electric & an inexpensive pull thru site on grass (but level enough that we didn't have to use jacks). Although under a large tree we still were able to use get TV reception via satellite and local antenna. We also saw non-grassy, non-treed sites on gravel and along the sides of fairgrounds roads. There was a large sign upon entry with fee and other campground info. We didn't use the toilets or showers, and arrived after the office closed. We didn't see a registration form anywhere, so just put cash into an envelope, with our info, and put it into the office door slot. The next morning was the beginning of Dairyfest, with a huge Mayor's Breakfast for the community held there. What a treat! Along with live music and giveaways, $5 bought us scrambled eggs, muffins, cereal, milk, cheese, coffee (and free ceramic cup), juice AND YES, ice cream with strawberry preserves. Later we visited Clyde Wynia's Jurassic Park metal sculpture gardens--a free MUST SEE destination for all! We camped here in a Motorhome.
Nice place. All sites appeared to have 50a, 30a, 20a service with water. One dump site at the South entrance. They had a relatively new shower building that they give you a key for; but we didn't need it. The fairgrounds are huge! Nothing was happening here the weekend we camped though; so it was a pretty quiet weekend. We'd definitely camp here again. Very inexpensive at $18 a night for both water and electric. TV and radio reception was good being in the city. Motorcycle friendly also. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
The only thing this campsite offered was water and electric hook up. No picnic tables or fire pits. Super clean and maintained. We camped here in a Motorhome.
