We have been stopping here for the last 10 years on our way back to Minnesota, always impressed with the conditions! Tar roads, level sites, activities for young and old. We don't use a lot of amenities but can tell everything is clean and in working order. Just wish all resorts would take half as much pride in their park as these people do! We were here in a 45' rig. We camped here in a Motorhome.

First off we would like to say "Thank you" to Stoney Creek Campground for a wonderful experience. They had cement patio's which was a first for us, they had unlimited mini golf and jumping pillow for $12 for your entire stay, the Swimming pool good size, & the internet signal was okay. The only bad thing about this campground is that you had to "pay" for your shower (.25 for 4 minutes)-- not a terribly bad thing but still. We would stay here again. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

We thought this was an absolutely wonderful campground that had everything. We got a site that had a few trees to give a little privacy and shade. They are adding on to it now and making more seasonal sites in the back. There is a little bit of road noise you can hear off of Interstate 94, but it is not real noisy. A 5' pool, a kids waterpark, mini golf, horse shoes, and a big playground. They even serve soft serve ice cream. We got a full hook up site and it was right around $50 a night on the weekend. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

I am afraid this "resort" gets the award for the worst campground we have stayed at-ever! First of all, it is NOT a resort, basically a bunch of campsites set in a pine thicket with a bar in the middle. Most people who were there were full time 'summer people'. The road getting there is very, very crooked and narrow, not big rig friendly at all. When I checked in, I asked if they had clean, hot showers, 'oh yes', the lady proprietor assured me. We decided not to unhook to go back down the very crooked road to town to get a bite to eat, so elected to eat at the bar. Very expensive food that was ok at best. We later wished we'd just gone back to town for a meal. The 'clean showers' were a joke, two unisex rooms with a toilet, sink and open shower(no shower curtain), tacked onto the back of the bar. Someone had seen fit to steal all the toilet tissue, so had to provide our own. Apparently the 'full timers' living there use them as their own, as their personal toiletries were scattered all over shower room. Floor was bare concrete, and nasty, nasty, nasty. I hated to even sit my shower bag on the floor, particularly since the entire floor gets wet from the open shower. Overall, just a awful, nasty experience for what I had been assured was a 'very clean, hot shower' by the proprietor. We couldn't wait to get up the next morning and get out of there and find something better. Definitely not worth the price they charge to stay at the 'resort'. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
