The city has upgraded this park since our stay in 2006 but didn't go far enough. Due to a "construction" boom they upgraded many sites to water and electric and still have the dump available. There is no gravel or pavement for any of the spots and during rains you sink quickly. The park is still maintained but they have doubled the price and with a park available at Dorchester for the same money, this one has suffered by comparison. Too bad, because a little grading and gravel would make it a beautiful spot. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This city park is useful for a "necessary" layover in this area. There is a nice R/V Dump which is free if needed. Potable water is also available. Worst part is the mosquitos during the summer. Park is right by the railroad tracks so it's quite noisy if trains bother you. We camped here in a Motorhome.
