We stopped over night at this campground. The park is well cared for and has excellent access to Lake Michigan as well as a boat launch area that is part of the park. I'm not sure how it would be camping for any length of time as there seemed to be a lot of ants all over the place which I have been told is common in these sandy areas. The sites are spread out so there is a lot of room. We had plenty of room to back in our van & dolly then back the coach in and connect the dolly on the site. There is a nice playground for kids. We camped here on site #1. We would camp here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
A small park, in the middle of the city of Peshtigo. Located in a park complex, including access to the Peshtigo river with boat launch, sand beach area, two pavilions available to rent, band shell with weekly Wednesday night music, horseshoe pits and 9 "hole" Frisbee golf course. Nice playground structures for the kids. Two public rest rooms, main with coin operated showers. Showers and rest rooms are closely monitored and kept clean. Campground host on site. Dump station. All sites have water and electric with picnic table, garbage cans and fire pits. Free Wi-Fi . Campground is separate from other activities. They also have two fairly new cabins to rent for $36/night. Both cabins have electric, twin bunks, a small table and two chairs. There is also water, a garbage can and a fire pit. We camped here in a Motorhome.
