Nice place to get away in the northwoods. Located on Big St. Germain Lake, this facility has a beach and marina, making it extra special. Staff is wonderful and helpful. Individual sites in the upper section are great, but those in the lower section (closer to the lake) aren't as nice or big. Bathroom facilities could be better. It would be nice if they built a second bath/shower area for those in the upper section. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We vacation in St. Germain every year, usually renting a nearby cabin. Tried tent camping here. Had a lousy site, too close to the bathroom. The resort facilities are older, could use some updating, but bathroom cleaned often. Showers not very nice. Not much separates the campsites, no privacy at all, some of the sites are very small. The sites near the lake appear larger. The lower area sites are not as nice as the upper. The lower roads are sandy gravel. People had to walk past our site to get to the bathroom, heard people all night long. Quiet hours were not observed. We were also too close to the dumping station, and somebody spilled on Day 2 of 4 and we had to live with the smell. The management did nothing to try and fix the foul odor. We left early. Would not go back. Perhaps an RV would have been more pleasant. I give it a 4 because St. Germain is a beautiful town/area. Sticking to the cabins! We camped here in a Tent.
