Rate is based on a one month stay plus weekly pump outs in a transient pull-through site. On the PLUS side: long pull through sites that handle unit and additional vehicle. Beautiful trees and grass with regular mowing. Very responsive owners via cell phone (office is open regularly only on Fri, Sat. & Sun). Very family oriented with activities, small sand beach, playground. Keeps good rules on controlling noise. Well water was good quality. On the MINUS side: very steep winding road that at places won't allow two passing vehicles. Tricky for big RVs and the faint hearten. Much of old asphalt road is pot holes and ruts and poorly marked big speed bumps. The top of the ridge is the pull throughs in the middle of an oval gravel road. Constant golf cart and vehicle traffic with huge billows of dust clouds. Washed our truck one day and filthy an hour later. Several episodes of low voltage and one power outage. Only two shower houses at the top of the ridge and quite distant and at the bottom at the office. Porta-Johns for the rest of the area. Weekdays nice and peaceful, weekends a zoo with massive tent groups and barking dogs. Boat launch is rugged with no readily accessible dock to the launch area. All-in-all a very nice stay but a campground best suited for seasonal and tent camping. Price is right. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Site was good size with trees on one side. (Pull through sites is not by trees). Sites are not level. Dump station is hard to get to-you need to back into it and there is no place to line up. Roads are very dusty with a lot of golf-cart traffic. Owners are very accommodating and service oriented. There are weekend-planned activities. Good place for kids. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
