This is one of the nicest campgrounds we ever stayed at. The pool was clean, the showers were clean, and everyone that worked at this campground are so nice. We loved the restaurant; they had prime rib on Saturday. For some reason this campground has no mesquitos thank god, I think because you're not camping in a valley, you're on the side of a hiil overlooking the Baraboo river. The sites are very big. We have been camping here the last 5 years, and look forward to coming back in 07.ps your only 20min.from Wisconsin Dells. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

This is a beautiful campground situated on the side of a hill, with lovely views of the Baraboo River valley. There are shaded sites in an older section and partial shade and some unshaded in the newer sections. The campground pads are either gravel or grass, but there was no problem with mud and we were there after a heavy rain. The interior roads were either paved or gravel, and in good condition. The shower house was immaculate, and the groundskeping was impressive. The campground also has a restuarant that has a buffet Wednesday thru Sundays, and the prices are quite reasonable. There is a swimming pool, a game room, and you can rent canoes or bikes. The "400" state bike trail is just down the road on state highway 33, with a trail head parking area right there. You're about 12 miles from Elroy, the start of the Elroy-Sparta trail, and about 1/2 an hour from Baraboo and the Dells. The campground owner and hosts were very nice and accomodating. This campground is worth a return trip. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
