The views from the hilltop sites are some of the most beautiful I’ve seen in a campground. Since it is on a hilltop there is a pretty steep climb to the site but it is paved and has a few switchbacks to break up the climb. Be very careful when checking in at the office at the rear of the restaurant as there are some large dips in the parking lot. Large enough to high center some rigs. These are paved dips to try to control water running down off the hill. Grass pull-thru sites are parallel to the drive, which gives the best views but may require a little jockeying to get positioned. Water pressure seemed a little weak. Nothing much near by, town of Wonewoc doesn’t have much to offer, had to drive 12 miles to Reedsburg to find a decent grocery. We didn't try the restaurant, looked at the menu and didn't see anything healthy listed. We stayed here to visit the Wisconsin Dells. We camped here in a Motorhome.

The facilities, pool, showers, etc., were quite a hike from our spot at the top of the hill, but other sites might be closer. We had one of the very large pull throughs, these are parallel sites, so no one is on either side, just to the back or rear. We had spot 64 which is very satellite friendly and with plenty of room that was all ours. All of the sites on the hill are the same. The whole park was very peaceful. No road noise. We would stay here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Our site, 38 and 38B, was probably one of the nicest sites we've ever stayed in, lots of room and nice shade. We didn't need our awning or screen room - there were no mosquitoes and few stinging insects. The staff made our family reunion camp out exceptional and were very accommodating. Some of us were camping and some were in cabins. I didn't try the food but others in a group did and said it was good. They had some essentials in the store. Therer is a grocery 5 minutes in town plus a farmers market. The pool looked nice, and the kids enjoyed it. The grounds were immaculate and campground very well laid out, seasonal sites were very well maintained. There is some road noise if you are in a tent. I would stay here again if in the area. It took us 30 minutes to get to the Dells area. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
