Having read previous reviews, I was not excited to call for reservation, but am glad to say this is a good place to over nite. Freeway noise is not that bad even when on a dog walk. The cable/wifi work fine. At this time of year, not many campers. I rated this campground based on surroundings: Not exactly a verdant oasis! For a brief stay, ones needs are more than met. Staff are friendly. Do know there are no closer campgrounds with amenities. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We stayed here to wait out wind warnings on I-80. Not a planned stay, but was adequate for a one-nighter. The staff was friendly and helpful. The park is in fair condition, but has some long term guests. The location is very close to the highway and there is considerable road noise. The sites were long, but fairly narrow. We had room for our slide, but if our neighbor would have a deep slide on the same side it would be tight. For our purposes the campground was OK. I wouldn't want to stay for more than a pass through, though. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Typical KOA, right along the freeway, very noisy, however, they did provide ear plugs!!! Water was not on yet, and they failed to mention that when we called ahead. Basically, a gravel parking lot with hook-ups. OK for a one-nighter with ear plugs in. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

We planned to stop here overnight. This is a National Forest Campground just off I-80 between Cheyenne and Laramie Wyoming. We had backed into the the only available site left, just at dark when the Camp "Host" (volunteer) asked us to leave as she said someone had already 'reserved' that site by sticking a piece of paper on the post where you clip your stub after filling out your vehicle information and dropping the $10 fee in a locked box. You CANNOT Reserve Nat Forest Campsites, and she did not know who the people were or if they had even paid, but still insisted that the site was spoken for and that we move. We were upset and left, BEWARE overzealous "Camp Hosts" in National Forest Campgrounds! Although pretty scenery, no hookups and you could still hear the noise from the interstate. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
