Nestled high on a ridge overlooking the KeyHole State Park and Reservoir is Cedar Ridge RV "Park." But beware, this is nothing more than a parking lot with full hook up sites and a non-existent office with sketchy locals manning the campground as their "base" for drug running and local underground deals. If you're looking for a cheap, quiet place to stay for a couple of nights, then this is the place for you. However, this is not the place you'd want to stay for more than one week. It takes over 45 minutes to get to Gillette (if you are a working camper / fulltimer) and the owners are VERY hard to get in touch with if you need them. (The office is NEVER open!) Beware of the permanent residents. Do NOT make friends or speak to anyone in the campground that looks as if they may steal from you, b/c they WILL! We will not return to this ***HOLE! Low voltage as well, almost ruined our A/C unit so we got the heck outta dodge!!!! RUN LIKE THE WOLVES! We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
