Nestled high on a ridge overlooking the KeyHole State Park and Reservoir is Cedar Ridge RV "Park"--but beware, this is nothing more than a parking lot with full hook up sites and a non-existent office with sketchy locals manning the campground as their "base" for drug running and local underground deals. If you're looking for a cheap, quiet place to stay for a couple of nights, then this is the place for you--however, this is not the place you'd want to stay for more than one week---it takes over 45 minutes to get to Gillette (if you are a working camper / fulltimer) and the owners are VERY hard to get in touch with if you need them (office is NEVER open!) Beware of the permanent residents--do NOT make friends or speak to anyone in the campground that looks as if they may steal from you, b/c they WILL! We will not return to this HELLHOLE! *** Low voltage as well, almost ruined our A/C unit so we got the heck outta dodge!!!! RUN LIKE THE WOLVES! We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
