USFS campground located 11 miles SW of Hoback Junction and 27 miles SW of Jackson. Beautiful campground right on Snake River in Snake River Canyon. Lots of shade. All sites are very large back-ins; roads are wide and access is good for larger rigs. Room to unhook toad. Friendly hosts on site. Made it our base for Jackson and Grand Tetons. Some traffic noise from highway but sound of Snake River was soothing. Group site across road. We were the only campers in our loop and there was only one in other loop. Site 8 looked best. Rate is Golden Age. We camped here in a Motorhome.
