This is a "new" RV Park at 1270 W A Street - it's actually accessed off US Highway 85 on the south end of town, just west of Interstate futures. We stayed here a month ($350) because we have lots of friends in the area. It's very inexpensive but with no amenities. You need to call ahead and the manager will meet you at the site, and turn on power to your site. They're not yet set up for credit cards. There are no listings for RV Parks in Torrington, but you could also stay at Goshen Country Fairgrounds, in addition to this RV Park. All hookups worked fine. Be warned there are train tracks 3 blocks away, with heavy coal train traffic. We will stay here again because the sites were large, and the managers were very responsive when we needed anything. The RV park is very close to two nice grocery stores, and it's a wonderful town to walk around and shop. Friendly folks! We camped here in a Motorhome.
The camp ground is in need of some help. Also, the pay box has been destroyed and of no use. Cost is $10 for electric and water; however, the water was not turned on at the time of visit. It was a quite place, OK for a night or 2 especially if all you want to do is rest up. Would we stay here yes, as we did not pay due to the box. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This place was a dump. Overgrown grass, junk cars, mosquitoes, abandoned buildings with windows broken out and no tables or grills. We were actually concerned about our safety in this RV site. We do not recommend especially if you have children. Deliverance was all we could say. We camped here in a Motorhome.
