Eagle Plains is located halfway between Dawson City and Inuvik, NWT on the Dempster highway. We paid for a basic site. Power sites are $15. The basic sites have tables and some BBQ grills. The power sites (around 5 sites) are in an open space with no other amenities. The washrooms, showers, and laundry are attached to the hotel. Our basic site had a great view of the surrounding country which is not a plain, but an elevated plateau ridge surrounded by hills and valleys. We camped here in a Motorhome.
