Nice campground. No hook ups available at all. Sites are not really laid out, just park where you want for the most part. We parked right on the creek and with the mountains on both sides of you it is a beautiful place. Bike riding on the Chief Ladiga Trail and hiking on the Pinhoti tail or maybe a kayak or canoe ride down the creek. Very nice and super dark at night. Great star gazing! Lots of church groups and boy scouts. We will go back and hookups are in the future although I'm not sure that would really be a good thing. We camped at Chief Ladiga Trail Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

This not yet completed park is located in a beautiful valley between Terrapin Creek and the Chief Ladiga Trail (Rail to Trail, Anniston, Al to Atlanta, GA. and has spectacular views. It is very private, but easily accessible by any size rig. Bath houses and office are complete and park is generally laid out. Utilities will be in by Spring 2011. Terrapin Creek, Chief Ladiga Trail and the Pinhoti trail are accessible from the park property. We biked the Chief Ladiga to the AL/GA state line where it connects with the Silver Comet Trail that leads on through GA to the outskirts of Atlanta. The campground is open for dry camping and will remain available during construction. Easily the most beautiful campsite we have ever seen. Bill is very accommodating. It is 7 miles to Piedmont, AL, where most anything you need is available. Don't miss this one. We camped at Chief Ladiga Trail Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
