A "rustic" campground with many "permanent or annual" residents. The interior roads are paved, but rough and narrow. Sites are gravel and terraced, but fairly level. Restrooms and showers are dated, but clean and serviceable. The office staff was friendly, helpful, escorted us to our site and assisted in parking. We used a pull-through so we didn't have to unhitch the toad for our one-night stay. They put us on a site that allowed for a straight-ahead departure the next morning. Good value and would stay here again. We camped at Cullman Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Follow the signs to the campground. Don't turn on CR 1185, the first turn. It is a gravel road and very narrow. Continue on CR 1184 to CR 1187 the turn onto CR 1185 to get to the campground.

I only stayed one night, passing through, so I didn't really get a good look at the campground or notice what amenities there were. I did notice my site was clean and level and was a pull-through with plenty of shade. As I walked my dog I saw lots of flowering plants, birds, squirrels, and rabbits. Nicely maintained and clean everywhere I went. The transient sites are not extra wide, but are enough for the slide outs, a big tree, and a picnic table. We camped at Cullman Campground in a Motorhome.

Large park in the country approximately 2.5 miles from I 65. Lots of beautiful trees but we had no difficulty with our satellite. Few homesteaders but not obvious. Well maintained, immaculate park. We just overnighted but saw a fawn at 3 pm! Large and long spaces. Bathrooms and showers older but very clean. No problems leveling the motorhome. We camped at Cullman Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Plenty of restaurants next to exit 310 where you leave I-65 including Cracker Barrel.

This is a very nice friendly campground! Very picturesque and shady. Owner met us as we pulled in and led us to our spot even though we were late arrivals. He was more than friendly and helpful. Restrooms were clean and smelled good. On a Friday night it was pretty full but quiet. Would stay again long or short term. We camped at Cullman Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Cullman has lots of restaurants.

We stayed 1 night on the way to Gulf Shores. Lady in the office was very nice and escorted us to our site. Long pull thru no trouble getting level. Sites are gravel with grass between sites and picnic table at every site. Did not use restrooms or showers. Roads coming into park are narrow but did not have any problems with 40ft RV plus towing. We camped at Cullman Campground in a Motorhome.

We spent 2 nights here. The person in the office was very friendly. The campground is very quiet yet only a few miles from town. The wifi was a little slow. I'd camp here again. We camped at Cullman Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

We used this campground for a one-night stay on our way to Florida. We had a pull-through site, which was level, with full hookups. There was good wi-fi, but no cable TV. There were many seasonal rentals in the park, and the owner explained most were contractors working on a dam project nearby. The bathrooms are older, no frills, but very clean. The owner was very friendly and went out of her way to make us feel welcome for our brief stay. We camped at Cullman Campground in a Motorhome.

We stayed one night on our way to Iowa. Small campground but OK for overnight stop. Not far from interstate. Road in to campground was narrow and through a housing area. Had a small laundry room and small but clean bathrooms. Our RV is 40' long. We camped at Cullman Campground in a Motorhome.

Friendly staff but campground is isolated, worn, and in need of renovation. Roads are muddy and pot holed. OK for an overnight, but don't expect too much. We camped at Cullman Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Only did a one night stop here. Wasn't someplace I would stay again if there were other choices close by. Sites were scattered about and grass/lime stone we were parked on a hill quite a bit off level without raising coach off wheels to get into level. We camped at Cullman Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed two nights. The entrance roads are very narrow. Big rigs may have problem with passing oncoming traffic. Sites are not level. All are graveled. Permanent residents have let their campers go. Pet rules are not followed. The owner told me to keep my dog on a leash while telling a loose dog to go home. Wi-Fi is very weak unless you go outside and work on the old tables provided. We will not use this park again. We camped at Cullman Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Owner very courteous, nice and helpful. Roads pretty rough and narrow coming into park, but tolerable. Couple of tight turns for a 5th wheel but again, tolerable. Site was gravel, but level and was a pull through (most are). Only problem I had was lack of TV. No cable and antenna reception was practically non-existent (only got about 3 channels). OK for overnighting, but wouldn't want to stay there too long. Pretty good for the money though! We camped at Cullman Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Stayed one night. Very clean and friendly campground. Although entry road was narrow and hilly, we had no problems with our 37' motorhome and towed vehicle. We were met by the owner and escorted to a great site (almost perfectly level). We used our GPS, and the campground was not mentioned, but we have since asked that it be added to the info. Great campground and will use again on our next trip through the area. We camped at Cullman Campground in a Motorhome.

This is a great partk for an overnight stay. It is sufficiently away from the interstate that there is little or no highway noise, but not so far off as to be inconvenient. A previous review mentioned the tight roads coming into the park. I did not find the roads to be a problem and I don't think they would be for even larger rigs than my 30 footer with a toad. There's no traffic--use the whole road. The host met us as we pulled into the campground and led us directly to our site which was easy to get into and level. There is no cable TV, but the Wi-Fi was good at our site. This campground is clean and a great deal at $20. We would stay here again. We camped at Cullman Campground in a Motorhome.

Level gravel sites. Clean and friendly. Showers and toilets- used curtains instead of doors, so weird. Good overnight, but I would not want to stay long. We camped at Cullman Campground in a Travel Trailer.
