Very clean COE. There were some ants around the pad but we spray levelers, wheels, electric cable about 6 in above ground and the same with water hose every time we setup and did not have any issues with ants. Electric and water no issues. Most of the sites are waterfront, we were in #12 with lots of space and some shade. Hosts were always available and very helpful, they did a great job keeping everything in this park clean and organized. Most sites have sewer; ours did not, we don't need sewer. We would stay here again if in the area. We camped at Foscue Creek COE in a Fifth Wheel.

Ants everywhere! Inside and out!! Got into everything we had even the beds! There were 2 other friends camping on different sites. They had the same problem! It was suggested we sprinkle baby powder around the wheels. That did not help. Park officials need to treat the grassy areas of this campground! We camped at Foscue Creek COE in a Travel Trailer.

Stayed here in a 42 ft. class A in site #38. This back-in was a breeze. The only issue was the very tight circle at the end of the loop when we exited. The site itself was very level & all the utilities worked well. You can see an occasional tug/barge go by on the Tombigbee. There is a Walmart not far on Hwy. 80. If you fish, there are many places to go to on the river as well as on the inlets. We camped at Foscue Creek COE in a Motorhome.

Another great COE CG. Friendly staff, quiet, neat as a pin. Most of the sites are waterfront. There are two pull throughs. Site 17 is a pull through with a small peek a boo view of the water. We enjoyed walking the dogs on the roadway around the park. Bike riding is popular too. A lot of campers come here to fish. They trailer in the smaller boats. The flowers blooming in the naturalized, native grass areas are very pretty. We came for one night and stayed three. We would love to return. We camped at Foscue Creek COE in a Motorhome.

Very clean and scenic park. The staff was very friendly and the park was easy to navigate in my 41 foot 5th wheeler. The town of Demopolis is nearby and your able to get supplies if needed. We were parked along the river and it was enjoyable to watch the large river barge passing by. Very few OTA TV stations. We camped at Foscue Creek COE in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed in this lovely campground for just one night due to traveling, but would have loved to stay much longer. It is a COE campground and due to our senior NPS pass we were able to get a 50% discount. We were in site #7 which was a pull through. It was near the lake and even though we had no cable or WiFi, we did have a concrete pad, picnic table, grill, and fire ring. The CG was spacious and quiet and as I said we would loved to have stayed longer. Excellent campground. Firewood was also available at the entrance. We camped at Foscue Creek COE in a Motorhome.

Foscue Park is operated by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. Arrived in the rain and the ranger booth was empty but a number indicated help was not far away. Sure enough after a short call a friendly volunteer arrived to check me in and give me much needed information about where to park, gate hours, etc. Roads through the park where plenty wide enough for my 35' 5th wheel. Easy angled back in to a very level concrete pad. Power, water, septic all easy hookup. Everything was in really good condition. Beside the parking pad, pea gravel outdoor area with fire ring, lantern pole, aluminum picnic table and another really handy small wooden table. Nicely done. I did learn after a few days that the pea gravel would stick to your shoes and was easy to track into the coach. Next time I will try to park leaving some of the concrete pad right in front of the steps. Live and learn. Our spot was overlooking the water with a wonderful view. There was adequate vegetation between sites to give good privacy. All in all, a very good start. I did a considerable amount of bird watching and spotted a number of birds to check off in my book. Fished with a new found friend but we did not catch anything. The place seems geared around fishing and watersports so we may have just hit a slow time. We were rather disappointed to learn that the laundry facilities were not functional. A Google search of the local town, Demopolis, indicated very low star ratings of the local laundry mats. We did however find a laundry mat not shown on Google maps on Hwy 80 at the eastern part of town with good machines that got the job done. The park appears to have one dumpster location for the camp area and is a nice little hike from the park end, a little exercise is good anyway. We did not use the bath facilities but we did look and everything seemed pretty clean, so no worries if needed. The only ding was the lack of operational laundry facilities. I would most definitely return. We camped at Foscue Creek COE in a Fifth Wheel.

Another camper told us about Foscue and we are glad they did! We enjoyed our stay in this very nice park. Clean, well kept, roomy sites with concrete patios, lantern poles, fire rings and aluminum picnic table. When they design campgrounds they need to take a look at Foscue Park, we didn't see anything undesirable. The sites are well set up, well maintained, hiking/biking trails, views of the lake/river, bathhouse/laundry facilities, playgrounds for the kiddos, covered pavilions for rent for large parties, easy to navigate roads and good clearance for big rigs, free firewood (bring an axe to chop it). Camp hosts always on duty and willing to help any way they can. If we are in the area again (and we will purpose to be) we won't hesitate to stay at Foscue Creek again. The one drawback we experienced was an invasion of sugar ants, we know that isn't unusual in park settings and next time we will be more prepared for the "wildlife". We camped at Foscue Creek COE in a Motorhome.

Full hook COE! Our site was terraced and on the water. Picnic table and camper on one level and fire pit on the lower level. Beautiful. Lots of places to ride bikes around the campground. Very friendly and competent staff. The campsite was spotless and raked when we moved in. We camped at Foscue Creek COE in a Fifth Wheel.

Very well-maintained. Spaces are reasonably separated, but only a few trees, so very visible to neighbors. Strong fish smell. Volunteer staff very friendly -- showed us to the site and helped us back in. We camped at Foscue Creek COE in a Motorhome.

We were hurrying to get here and set up before a big storm was to hit. The lady checking us in, pointed out that there was a storm shelter if needed. Thankfully, the storm passed us by and there was no need to shelter. The campground is a very nice COE park. The sites are a bit close, backing up to the lake. The showers and bathrooms were clean and nice. We camped at Foscue Creek COE in a Tent Trailer.

It looked like the camp hosts had firewood for sale. There are a couple of playgrounds. Most sites were on the water with fishing available.

We picked Foscue because it was a COE and came recommended from other campers and USCOE Park Rangers. They were right. Well maintained , large sites and free fire wood. Those were not even the best features. The barges move up and down the waterway all day. These are fascinating to watch. Quite a crowd of campers would gather at the river to watch the passing barges. Host campers were helpful and friendly. Demopolis is close by with many interesting things to see and good shopping and a few good restaurants. We didn't fish but nearly every site is on the water so you can launch your boat of fish from the banks. Park your boat right outside your camp site. We will return this year but will stay right on the waterway so we can watch the barges. We camped at Foscue Creek COE in a Motorhome.

Shopping and groceries are two miles away. The strip has every type of store, gas station and fast food you could want and even some you don't. A few good restaurants (ask the locals or camp host) and a lot of historical places to visit. Downtown was fairly busy but not a lot happening.

Well maintained large sites with gravel patios, picnic tables, grill, bear food hooks, fish cleaning tables fire rings with concrete pads accessed by asphalt interior roads. Well shaded. Love this park. Does have ants and lots of them, so take care to be very aggressive stopping the ants from getting to your rig. They must not spray for them. Stayed a week--would stay here again.
