We had a long level pull through with plenty of space for the tow. Full hook ups with cable. Cable worked well and WiFi was better than most. Lots of permanent residents but it is an RV and MH park. Well maintained. Looked like the pull through sites up front by the road were for the overnighters. The road noise didn't bother us. We use earplugs at night if it's loud. Plenty of grass for walking the dog. Would would stay again if passing through. We camped at Cherry Blossom RV and Mobile Home Park (formerly Pecan Point RV Park) in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

Nice pull throughs and very accommodating when I asked to arrive a day early. Older park, with mobile homes and RVs mixed, some older, some newer, but park is generally well maintained. Very, very buggy though, made walking the dog difficult. New owners no longer accept Passport America discount card, but do offer discounts for Good Sam and military. The dog park section is no longer dedicated to dog walking and is now home to 10 additional pull through sites. Be careful about which site you accept - one half of the front sites are angled out to the nearby road, facing in the SOUTHbound direction. We had to make a U-turn on a 4-lane highway in order to head north. The sites on the other side of the office allow for a direct shot across the highway instead. We camped at Cherry Blossom RV and Mobile Home Park (formerly Pecan Point RV Park) in a Motorhome.

Second time staying here for an overnight. Very easy on and off from Rt. 231. Clean restrooms and showers. Spacious lot offering some shade. Site surface was gravel and featured a picnic table. Would stay here again. We camped at Cherry Blossom RV and Mobile Home Park (formerly Pecan Point RV Park) in a Travel Trailer.

Called after hours and connected with a friendly staff person who helped me immediately. This park is gem! While mostly permanent residents live here, it felt like a community and everyone was kind and helpful. We stayed on site 611, a long pull through had fresh gravel. Level was good front to back, but out side to side a little. Not enough that I used leveling blocks. Wifi was very good and fast. All utilities were new and worked well. The laundry and restrooms were extremely clean. Access to the RV park is good, but the highway is busy and it might take a few minutes to turn in or out. They are trying to get the city to allow a turn lane, but nothing yet. I would definitely stay here again. This is primarily a Mobile Home park with sites available for short term RV Parking. The facilities were basic and worked as it should. The staff was very nice and helpful. WiFi was continuously disconnected but worked. The park was clean and quiet even though my site was near the highway. The location was easily accessible. This is mostly a Mobile Home and long term RV park. Having said that it is very quiet and well groomed. In process of upgrades in short term spots. Ours had new stone and was very level. Visit relatives here each year and will stay here again. We camped at Cherry Blossom RV and Mobile Home Park (formerly Pecan Point RV Park) in a Motorhome.

Date of Stay: December, 2017 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

I simply cannot give this park the rating that other users have given it. Granted, it was a cold, rainy and dreary day that we spent for an overnight stay. It had rained and there was mud everywhere. The turn was very tight coming in and we had to run through the mud to get into a gravel pad that was way too short for our motorhome and toad. There was a grassy area in front of the pad but we were afraid we would get stuck if we parked there. The site was fairly level. Check in was smooth and the lady was very nice considering it was New Years Eve. Very expensive place to stay even with Good Sam discount. This might be an ok place to stay if you are in a fifth wheel or travel trailer but not a large motorhome. We were only going to stay one night but had truck problems and stayed two nights. We had a good level, gravel site with good water pressure and voltage. Easy to get a satellite signal so we were good. As others have said it is mostly long termers/permanents but they were no issue. There were no junky rigs and park was well kept up. We would stay hers again if in the area. We camped at Cherry Blossom RV and Mobile Home Park (formerly Pecan Point RV Park) in a Fifth Wheel.

Easy access off 231, nice, wide grassy sure with concrete table pad. Interior roads paved, with speed bumps. Friendly staff with easy reservations and check in processes. Park is mostly shady, but transient pull throughs are close to highway and sunny. Permanent residents were mixture of people, ages and occupations, but all were friendly. This park is mostly a mobile home park. When checkin in I requested a site away from the highway, but when directed to my site it was in a row parallel to a very busy (semi's all night) 4 lane highway, very close, I did not sleep well. The site was a grass field with utility stations, no picnic table, pad or fire ring. But it was long enough that I did not have to disconnect my tow vehicle. The bath rooms were small one person rooms with toilet, shower and sink. One female and one male, but they were clean. If given a choice I would not stay here again, especially if I had to park next to the highway. We camped at Cherry Blossom RV and Mobile Home Park (formerly Pecan Point RV Park) in a Motorhome.

I am amazed by the long list of 10 ratings for this location. I have been to 10's and this is not my idea of what a 10 rating means. I expect a 10 to have a pool - expect a wifi that works away from the office - expect some shade at least part of the day - expect site paving that's not just old broken up concrete - expect a lack of road noise - expect more than one dumpster for the whole park or pickup - etc etc. This location is a 7. Maybe an 8 if they were still in the Passport America system [for at least one day]. Price does matter. There are other choices along RT 231 at Ozark {same price & pool] and Cottondale [less cost]. We camped at Cherry Blossom RV and Mobile Home Park (formerly Pecan Point RV Park) in a Travel Trailer.

Excellent park. Great pull thru's easily accessible for big rigs towing. Wonderful staff, friendly and helpful. The park is neat as a pin, landscaped beautifully and maintained excellently. We would highly recommend and will definitely stay here again. There are mobile home owners here but it is not a problem. Their sites add to the overall beauty of the park with personal landscaping and well manicured sites. Plus, the folks in the park are friendly and welcoming. This is what all parks that combine short term and full time residents should be like. We camped at Cherry Blossom RV and Mobile Home Park (formerly Pecan Point RV Park) in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

There is a great brewery here. It is a bit out of town, 2 miles and looks like you're driving in the country to nowhere but it is worth it. The brewery has great indoor and outdoor space, great beer and super friendly staff. It was a fun experience and I highly recommend it. The name of the brewery is Folklore. Check the hours on their website to make sure it's open.

Stayed at Cherry Blossom for about a week and a half. The owners were both a delight - both very helpful and nice - went out of their way to help us. Wifi was excellent also which is a rarity in most RV parks! We will stay here again when in the Dothan area. We stayed here for 2 nights to visit a friend in Dothan Al. We had a pull through site in the front. We loved this park. The sites were long, gravel with concrete patios. Plenty of space between sites. Easy for our 43ft motorhome towing a full sized pickup to maneuver. The workers were friendly and helpful as was everyone we met in the park. The ground are clean, clean, clean and beautifully landscaped. We will definitely stay here again when in the area and have already made our reservations. There are full time residents in this park but that did not detract at all. The park is pristine. It's on 231 which is convenient but busy, so call for best way into the park and make reservations early. Everyone avoiding the 85 collapse in Atlanta will be coming this way. Hunt's seafood up the road 2 miles. Great special before 6pm and some of the best raw oysters we've ever eaten. A landmark that reminds you of vacations with grandparents in the best possible way.
