Stayed for a week in a 45 ft. motorcoach. There are some vehicle restrictions so read (it's very clear) before reserving. This a really nice place ... absolutely no complaints. 15 minutes from shopping/dining/beach. Rates vary by lot and amenities ... cheap seats are about $45 and very nice ... some pull-thrus available. One of the few places we will revisit. We camped at Bella Terra RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Great park! Staff is excellent. Grounds are well maintained. Paved streets and sites, most with tables, covered patios, etc. Gated entrance. Activities during the week. A couple of dog parks. No playground or tennis court. Stayed in site 240 facing the lake and was next to a small parking lot for the large pool and clubhouse. Very quiet at night. About a 10 min or less drive to the beach, grocery, Walmart and other stores. Lots of restaurants and fast food close by.

Excellent Cable with over 50 channels including 3 HBO. We camped at Bella Terra RV Resort in a Motorhome.

We had seen the numerous reviews and wanted to check out the park for a potential longer stay. For an overnight place it is not convenient: it is about 20 miles from Interstate 10. The park appears to be designed for owners and they occasionally rent spaces. Much of the park is as of yet undeveloped. Until then the lots are grass: neatly trimmed. Interior roads are wide and excellent, pads are all concrete and spaces differ with number and type of amenities. It is about a 15 minute drive to the beach area. Very busy highways so bicycles are not an option. The clubhouse is very nice. The workout room is one of the best we have seen. Landscaping is attractive. The park is bordered on three sides by farms. One side by a housing development and is quiet, if not a feeling of being pretty remote. If you want to be near the beach there are other options. If we are in the area again, we would opt for one of the other class A parks. Just to be closer to the beaches and restaurants. We camped at Bella Terra RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

The town of Foley has a number of stores and chain type restaurants. Most of the activity is by the beach area: 15 minutes by car.

This is a Class A only resort.

This was our second time here. Always nice there. The facilities are top notch. Staff is helpful to the extreme. The place is 8 years old and you would never know it, it is so well maintained. The park has flowered landscaping throughout. Roads are paved and wide enough for the biggest rig. Other than a small pool there isn't much to do at the RV resort.

There are plans for a second pool but that is dependent on future sales. If an effort were made for late day/ evening activities it would add a lot to the resort. We camped at Bella Terra RV Resort in a Motorhome.

This is our second stay at Bella Terra, a lovely resort convenient to the beach area of Alabama and Florida. We drive a 45F MH and found access to and through the park very easy. Although they have pull-through sites, I think one would have to remove a tow care in order to fit. Internal roads are paved and all sites are concrete. The roads are wide and getting into and out of the sites was very easy. The office staff are very friendly and have great service practices. They call to confirm your reservation and call the day of your arrival to verify the time and to be sure you are all set with directions. Most sites are developed and really lovely, the club house is very nice with a great workout room. Utilities are well placed and all work well. Wifi was very good while we were there. We will definitely return next year. We camped at Bella Terra RV Resort in a Motorhome.

We have been traveling with our RV for over 5 years, and during that time we have visited at least 50 different resorts/ campgrounds. Without a doubt, we feel that Bella Terra is one of the finest. The setting is beautiful, and the resort is immaculate, with all the amenities one could imagine. From a real estate point of view, I would give it the highest rating possible.

But there is more to traveling pleasure than just the location. Courtesy, friendliness and warmth of the staff also play a big part in any vacation venue, and Bella Terra really shines in that area as well. It seems like the staff just can't do enough for us. They bend over backwards to accommodate our needs, whether they be for scheduling, health issues or simple comfort. This is definitely a place where we plan to spend a good portion of our winter trip. They make us feel like family. We camped at Bella Terra RV Resort in a Motorhome.

It is an ownership park that rents out sites, hopes you like them and will buy one. They offer no sales pitch as the park is the sales pitch. It is everything you would want in a park. Wide roads, huge sites, and a nice lake. We have stayed many times and enjoy this park. We camped at Bella Terra RV Resort in a Motorhome.

This was our 6th visit to Bella Terra, and it was just a beautiful as before. Despite a week of rain, there was no flooding or water issues. The pump ran, drained the lake down a bit, and the rain refilled it. Good management. The holiday festivities included a Christmas party, lunch and a NY eve bash. Lots of activities if you want to participate. Looks like the resort is almost complete. Just a few lots remain undeveloped. While this place is beautiful, the staff makes it a 10. They are caring and responsive. Renters are treated just like owners. Great place. We camped at Bella Terra RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

If you miss Foley Beach Expressway off hiway 59 & continue S on 59, you can't turn E on Brink-Willis Rd (closed for repairs). Instead turn E on hiway 12, just past Jeep dealer, & go E until you reach Expressway, and turn S. If you miss hiway 12, keep going S on 59 until you get to the Publix market on your left, & turn E on route 4, and continue to end & it will turn onto the Expressway& you can turn N toward Bella Terra. This will keep you off James road (dirt).

Bella Terra is easy access from I-10 using the Baldwin Expressway and Foley Beach Expressway. Internal roads are paved with large concrete sites. We drive a 44' MH with a tow which we removed when arriving at the resort. We had no difficulty navigating into the site or around the park. The utilities are well placed along the side of the site. Electric and water pressure is good. We stayed in a lakefront site that was nicely landscaped and included a screened gazebo. The resort is lovely, clean and well maintained. The staff of the resort have the best customer service practices that we have ever encountered. They called us several times prior to our arrival to confirm our reservation, check on our arrival time, and just to make sure we were all set. When inside the park, they alerted us right away for a couple of packages that arrived. They were extremely friendly and made us feel welcome. The guests were the same way, very friendly and we really enjoyed the week that we spent there. Workout room is good, club house is nice and we used the hot tub as well. Wifi is good for basic internet activity. We hope to return next year as we had such a great time during our stay. We camped at Bella Terra RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Bella Terra is a Class A Motorhome resort. Though many of the lots are privately owned, there are plenty of rental spaces available. Cutting to the chase, this is the finest MH resort in the South! It also happens to be at our favorite destination, Gulf Shores, AL. BTW, the rate I posted is a weekly rate. You would just need to stay here to understand how great this place is! Best way to get there from IH10 is take the Baldwin Beach Expressway (not on my GPS; check Mapquest) to the Foley Beach Expressway to Brinks Willis Rd.

We stayed during the Labor Day holidays with four other couples and loved every minute. The staff of Bella Terra are outstanding in every way which makes the experience even better. We attended some of the activities scheduled and had a wonderful time.

Bella Terra is located within about 10 miles of Gulf beaches, far enough for peace and quiet, close enough to hit the beach if you want. The resort is gated and therefore you don't have to worry about leaving anything out - super! The sites are all large and clean, landscaping is always perfect, the clubhouse area is outstanding with big screen tv, spa, and more. To me this is the perfect place to go. We stayed here for 4 nights, and enjoyed our stay. The resort is clean and beautiful. The sites we were on (252) was a pull-in, with a nice view of the lake and fountain, and was close to the clubhouse. The pool was beautiful, but chilly (unheated?), and the "hot tub" had to be turned on 30 mins prior to use in order for it to be "hot". (?) The clubhouse is gorgeous, with nice exercise facilities, a massage room, a sauna, mens/ladies locker rooms, a movie theater, and gathering area with bar and kitchen. I did not give the resort a "10" due to its lack of other amenities......we have been to other parks that offer a lot more for the price (outdoor sports facilities, clubs for any interest, etc) The utilities worked as they should, we had a strong Verizon signal, and a clear shot of the sky for satellite. I would stay here again, but would not consider buying a site, due to lack of amenities for the price. We camped at Bella Terra RV Resort in a Motorhome.

We stayed with 4 other motorhome friends over Fourth of July. The campground had a full schedule of activities for the weekend, which we all participated in. Everything, including food, was well planned and enjoyed by all. this is a great place to stay, but is limited to Class A motorhomes. The entrance and park roads are all very wide and are designed for Class A coaches. Our site was level, as are all sites. All pads are concrete and wide. This park definitely deserves the high ratings folks have given it. We would definitely stay there again. We camped at Bella Terra RV Resort in a Motorhome.

My wife and I stayed for two weeks and really enjoyed the resort and it truly is a resort. Very nice clubhouse with the best exercise room I have ever seen. Its own movie room with theater chairs and popcorn, lots of planned activities. The resort is very well kept with trash service at your site. The sites are roomy with lots of grass around your all concrete pad and patio.

Gated resort no worries about leaving bicycles unlocked or anything else for that matter. Only a few minutes to the beach or even closer to anything ever needed in Foley.

Second visit in only a few months and I'm about 1200 miles away round trip, will surely be heading back again! We camped at Bella Terra RV Resort in a Motorhome.
