Very nice campground. Quiet, off the beaten pathway but still close enough to visit the beach and outlet malls. Staff were very accommodating and friendly. We will definitely stay here again. We camped at Magnolia Springs RV Hideaway & Golf Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Our site was a dirt site with a picnic table on a concrete pad. It was a back in site. The site was fully covered with tall trees - made for nice shade on warm days. The staff is very friendly and helpful. My only complaint is the wifi. It was either sporadic and weak, or non-existent. We went to the Foley library when we needed a really strong signal. Supermarkets and shopping within 5 miles. Beaches are close. Fairhope with fine dining is close as well. We would definitely stay here again. Directions to park were good except the sign at the main entrance says Magnolia Hideaway RV Park. golf course no longer there the owners are building 70 more sites in that area. Entrance road is somewhat dusty. Once in park most sites are concrete with patio's. WiFi was good in our site, agree with previous post some sites blocked. grounds were clean, would have given a higher score on service if the person who took reservation hadn't made a mess of it and the person checking us in couldn't figure it out till the next morning. Didn't use the restrooms or laundry park mostly snowbirds were friendly. Park will be really nice when they get the new sites in. We would stay here again. Only big negative was their web site hasn't been updated since 2014, was disappointing when trying to see their rates for next winter. We camped at Magnolia Springs RV Hideaway & Golf Resort in a Motorhome.

Great park for your dollar. We stayed on Site #53, concrete pad, grass, good wifi, satellite, 50 amp, sunny/open. There are some shady sites too. New sites under construction nearby. Staff great and very welcoming! We camped at Magnolia Springs RV Hideaway & Golf Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Acme Oyster House in Gulf Shores has the best grilled oysters, and I am not a lover of oysters at all! Good onion rings too! LuLu's across the water from Acme is good for a drink, music and watch the sailboats dock for LuLu's. Gulf Shores Pier has great fishing! Saw USS Alabama great day spent there. Dreamland Barbecue in Mobile has great barbecue. Blue Angels in Pensacola on Tuesdays.

I found this campground to be quite nice. It looks like most of the units are long term visitors who leave their units and come/go for months at a time. The campground has lots of old trees to provide shade in the summer. The restrooms are clean and the WIFI works well near the clubhouse. It isn't a bad drive to Gulf Shores. I would stay again. Our site had eyebolts in the patio to tie down your awning or pet. We camped at Magnolia Springs RV Hideaway & Golf Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Very quiet and far from amenities. If you want to par 3 golf, fine. If not very little to do and the gravel roads make walking/biking difficult. Lots of humidity and trees make it so shady most of the trailers have mildew. Sounds like there's a shooting range nearby. Had planned to stay for the winter, but changed our minds after a couple of weeks. We camped at Magnolia Springs RV Hideaway & Golf Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

As others noted, service here not exactly stellar. Owner rarely available, office hours erratic, unreliable. Basic park. WiFi censor ware used to block many regular sites, not to prevent streaming. We accessed You Tube, streamed Netflix fine. We camped at Magnolia Springs RV Hideaway & Golf Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

For those interested, outlet mall nearby. Awful choice of grocery stores in Foley. Gulf Shores very close, but we were put off by having to pay to park anywhere near beach.

We arrived at the park after 2 PM and the office was closed. Had to call a number which was fine but ended up speaking with a young child and not the owner. Information was being relayed between her and the owner. Not professional at all. Was given site location and told to check in the next day. Site was horrible. Had to back up over the small patio to park and was up hill at that. Was greeted by another person who had a beer and appeared intoxicated. Golf course was in bad shape. Greens were not mowed. Had planned to stay a week. Immediately started looking for another campground. Will not stay here again. We camped at Magnolia Springs RV Hideaway & Golf Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Very nice quiet park. We were in the back of the park among mostly friendly snowbirds. Our site was a back-in with plenty of room. We camped at Magnolia Springs RV Hideaway & Golf Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

The Gulf beaches are about 15 miles away but well worth the effort. Shopping of all sorts is also nearby. The town of Foley has a fair share of antique shops for browsing. Would definitely return to this park.

This is a Passport America park, and they give a discount for 7 nights Their regular rate is $32/night, $150/week, and $360/month. Gravel sites in older section. Newer section has 2 rows of sites with concrete parking pads and concrete patios; these are $400/month. The monthly rate includes 900 kWh electricity, full 50 amp hookups, Wi-Fi at sites. If you are staying at the park you can golf for $10 a day. We have stayed her twice before in past years. We are staying here now for a week. There is a club house and some activities. Not a bad park We camped at Magnolia Springs RV Hideaway & Golf Resort in a Motorhome.

This park is near the village of Magnolia Springs, 5 miles west of Foley. Full time residents and long term winter guests are the mainstay. The host was indifferent to my short term stay of 3 days. No map of the park and I had to ask for a statement as well as the amenities. OTOH the residents are very friendly and helpful. If you have a dog you will fit in very well. The park is terraced with the Community building being on the top level. The next 2 levels are older, well shaded, and sites may be on grass or concrete. The newer and lowest level is more spacious and open. The showers were fine as was the Wi-Fi. There was no defined path to the community building or parking. We can recommend the Blue Marlin Family restaurant a few miles west on 98. The 9 hole par 3 course is well kept and fun to play. It is the only reason we would return. Rate posted is the PA rate plus tax. We camped at Magnolia Springs RV Hideaway & Golf Resort in a Motorhome.

Small, no frills, simple park. They have a small clubhouse where the showers are. They had a couple of functions while we were here: dance, pot luck, breakfast, etc. Very fun people. We had a great time. Hosts treated us like family. We really felt at home and comfortable. Not much for scenery and sites are very close together. Wi-Fi worked great all the time. Great for golfers, since golf course is walking distance, but out of the way from everything else. Not great for kids, since there are no kid amenities. Priced right. We stayed for a month and we would return. We camped at Magnolia Springs RV Hideaway & Golf Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Managers are not the brightest. Gave us the wrong street address to have a UPS parcel shipped. Rate is Passport America rate. Walked into the restrooms and they were disgusting. People in the park were great, mostly snowbirds. Has a nice little pitch and putt golf course. Out of the way and very quiet. Great Verizon cell/data. Did not use the WiFi. Probably would not stay again. We camped at Magnolia Springs RV Hideaway & Golf Resort in a Fifth Wheel.
