A true hidden gem. Quiet, level, spacious sites with FHU. Pristine surroundings including the lake where one can fish (no license required). Bobby Trent Jones Trail golf course close by. Friendly staff. Day of reservation was not an issue. A must stop if in the area. Bring a fishing pole and your golf clubs. - dutch star

This was our first time camping here. If you are looking for a quiet and peaceful stay, this is the place. Not much to do except for the walking trail and a golf course near by, but, over all, a wonderful relaxing campground. We would go back. - Spirit1999

No longer a 'Good Sam" park. Lovely little lake with a walking path around it. - WNC Traveler
Nov 2018 - $36.00
This park is a small park mainly for AT&T workers, so the wifi and Hotspots from AT&T were free and great. The roads were gravel as well as the sites. We were in a pull thru spot #23 and there was plenty of space to park our 5th wheel and truck. The staff was really friendly and let us stay a few hours after check out time because of a tornado watch and storm passing thru the morning we wanted to leave. - Vipermanden

There is nothing wrong with this CG except the kind of CG it is - a big field next to the interstate with no shade. The hook-ups work fine (even the wi-fi, which almost never works at campgrounds). The guy who owns it is incredibly pleasant and helpful. But it's not charming. There is no reason to stay here other than if you need a CG for the night. - virginianola

Great place to overnight. Some older long term campers, one with an array of liquor bottles on display outside his abode. Water pressure was a bit high, use your regulator. Was able to contact the staff late in the evening to book a site...huge plus. Staff was helpful and friendly. We didn't hear the traffic from the interstate from our site. - JayFeather_Traveler

The park is quite old and the entrance roads and tarmac at the office are in need of attention. The site was a pull through, hard surface and level. Quite a few permanent residents. Adjacent to Interstate. - W Howard

This park was in the Good Sam parks book as a Good Sam park, however it is NOT a good Sam Park any longer. It is very run down, dirty with poor hook ups. We will not stay there again. - racomarley

Can you say Deliverance? Live and learn - I will never stay in a park without referring to RV Park Reviews again. This place was reviewed last in 2007 and nothing has changed. I did have 50 amp that worked fine, but there is nothing to recommend the park other than it is easy on and easy off the interstate, and there is a easy in and out diesel place outside the gate. The park was quiet, eerily so. Several mildew covered permanent trailers on either side. Close the door and turn on the AC. Glad to say good-bye. Very unfriendly dude checked us in. Stay away. Pretty trees, and the power worked, otherwise a zero. - Tiny Beast
