1 Park near Jemison, Alabama
May 2015 - $30.00
This is a good overnight spot right off I-65. No real amenities except for the pool which was not open. There was a lake and small playground. Sites were level grass / gravel and water, electric and sewer were all fine. Bathrooms had lights out and several "out of service" signs on some stalls. This is OK but I think overpriced for what you get. Campground would be a good Passport America park at best. - jeffs

The staff is very very friendly, we were pleasantly surprised by the place after our first night (we stayed 3 nights), even though we just passed by we choose to stay another night since we really enjoyed Tallahassee.
Its not a big park but surprisingly pleasant, they people are very very nice, and you'll read reviews about how narrow the roads are narrow and it's hard to maneuver with a trailer, but that over dramatizing, the best word we have to describe the roads is that they are sufficient.
The campground is very clean and don't be turned off thinking its so close to the highway, we like quite and it was!!
We personally like the gravel, it's less messy or dirty, especially with a dog. They have two main area, small one by the road will be noisy.
We were in the bigger area, it was plenty quite.
You'll be very close to your neighbor and it usually bother us but surpisingly didn't this time. - MikeMayNaama

Good place for an overnite. Right off the interstate. Open sites that are big rig friendly. Nothing fancy but adequate. The owners were very accommodating, offered to drive us to/from local restaurant when we asked about something within walking distance as we arrived just before dark and didn't want to unhook our car. There is a small lake on the property. - Nautical Wheelers
