1 Park near Jemison, Alabama
Oct 2015 - $30.00
Older KOA, so small space, but large open areas for walking dogs or kids. Clean park with weekend activities for local camper. Good over night stop with fuel/gas coming in or leaving, easy in and out. Some hwy noise, but not bad. Sewer would have taken two lengths to reach our MH so we skipped using the sewer connection.
Sites are grass and level. - Chuck F

This is our second stay at this park. It is certainly conveniently located right off I65, but it does have some warts. Many of the sites have long term renters with overflowing stuff crammed into the site. The sewer connection is 12 to 15 feet from the water and electrical connection, at the very rear of the site. Makes for either a long sewer hose or long electrical and water connections. Plenty of room on the pull through site for the car, but since it was a quick overnight we opted not to hook up the sewer. There was no hot water in the bathrooms in the morning and the manager wasn't aware that the hot water heater had gone off. Both bathrooms had been recently painted and with the closed windows and locked door, the fumes were pretty bad. The showers are plenty big, but there are no chairs or benches and a limited number of hooks. Like I said, it's a real convenient location for a quick overnight, but at $30, not a great value. - Good Vibes

Whilst an older park (family owned) it has undergone a revamp with the younger generation now controlling the operation. We have stayed here before when it was a bit run down but now the bathrooms, laundry and pool are good. We use this park to visit friends and it is only 1/2 hour from Birmingham. Has a few permanents located at rear of campground. Whilst adjacent to Interstate it is relatively quiet. Close to garage, shops, restaurants. Has great wi-fi and TV. Lovely family and we would stay here again. Stayed in 38ft motorhome with tow. - OzFrosty
