Date of Stay: March, 2012 - $10.00
Prior reviews tell it all. One note for prior visitors, the campsite numbers have been changed. For example our wonderful site last year was 27, this year it is 102. TV reception last year was good, this year we only got PBS. Our Verizon phone was marginal, Verizon data service OK. The rate is for Golden Age card. We camped at Colonel's Rest Bed & Breakfast in a Travel Trailer.Undo

This park is now run by AWA properties and does NOT have any amenities except basic cable TV is provided (no bath house/laundry). We loved it being close to shopping yet woodsy and out of site of traffic. We lived here fulltime for nearly a year. The electric is not metered: included in the rent. There are only 2 pull through sites. Mrs Watson still lives in big house behind park. I'd highly recommend this park for someone working in the Montgomery area. We camped at Colonel's Rest Bed & Breakfast in a Fifth Wheel.Undo
We talked to Mrs Watson, she is a very nice lady. Her park is small and most sites are full year round. We had to park in front of bed & breakfast rooms near pool. Sites were 30 amps with water only. Her park is on 88 acres (old farm). Short road in and out of park, one lane only, you can not pass on this road. Low trees are a small problem. Her bed & breakfast house is very nice, we would love to spend a night in B&B with her in future. Lot of new business people have moved into east part of Montgomery close to exit 11 on I-85. We camped at Colonel's Rest Bed & Breakfast in a Motorhome.Undo
Not listed in campground guides. It is a B&B, with some RV sites. 5 sites have pads and
all of the hookups. The rest are semi-hookups in a field. This was an incredible place. Very close to everything, but still felt like you were out in the country. We loved it! The Watson family owns everything. Mrs Watson was a true Southern lady. It was a true get-away and we would go back in a heartbeat! This place was a real home away from home treasure!! We camped at Colonel's Rest Bed & Breakfast in a Motorhome.
Small private secluded. Just outside of Montgomery (exit 11 on I-85) 2 miles NE on hwy 126. Bed and Breakfast available - REALLY nice rooms. We camped at Colonel's Rest Bed & Breakfast in a camper.Undo
