We fled in a MotorCoach from central FL and Hurricane Irma to this delightful rv park. What a gem of a park ! Concrete level pads, full hookups all around, lush grass, superb gravel roomy interior roads. All just 6 miles off I-85 expy. Mgr was fantastic too. We will go out of our way to come back. We camped at Spring Villa Park in a Motorhome.

We camped here for an MSU/AU football game. The location was excellent. We were able to catch a shuttle for the game at the next exit west on I85. The manager and staff were friendly and accommodating. The camp ground and facilities were clean and well maintained. The facility is owned by the city of Opelika, AL. They make reservations by phone and accept cash or checks when you arrive. We camped at Spring Villa Park in a Motorhome.

This is a very clean and quiet park about 6 miles off the highway. The park manager is super helpful and great to work with. There is an historic house at the front of the park. There is a play ground. This is a very nice park. We camped at Spring Villa Park in a Motorhome.

A diamond in the Rough! Super nice facilities, easy check in, no road noise, some small hiking trails near by not to mention an authentic Haunted House! while we were there they had a group of "Ghost Hunters" there... The camp host is as nice as anyone we have ever met. Will definatley stay there if we ever get another opportunity, we only stayed two nights. They only take cash or checks so be prepared. Don't miss this one! We camped at Spring Villa Park in a Motorhome.

What a pleasant surprise! This is a city park in a very quiet part of town. Located on a lovely plantation/estate with the mansion still in good shape. They were turning it into a haunted house for Halloween.

Level pull thru concrete pads with nice gravel roads. Plenty of space, very easy to navigate. Staff was great, easy check in.

We've been looking for a halfway mark between Pensacola & Atlanta. For the last 4 yrs we stayed at "Lakeside RV" in Opelika. It was almost tolerable for one night but they keep raising the site rent yearly. Happy we found this gem. We camped at Spring Villa Park in a Motorhome.

Stayed here while my mother was in nearby hospital. Excellent service. Great Value! Park is operated by City of Opelika. Park is on the grounds of an antebellum plantation. The house , circa 1850 is within sight of campgrounds. I grew up 25 miles north of this park but did not know anything about it's unique offering to campers. Very popular during football season since it is near Auburn University. We camped at Spring Villa Park in a Tent Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Tour the old mansion on site if possible. ( There is suppose to be a ghost in house; but he must not come around campground.)

Also great shopping at nearby Tiger town. Only about hour and a half from Atlanta via I 85.

Auburn University campus about 10 miles away.

Very nice, well kept park. The resident manager does a great job working to keep the park so nice! All the cement pads seem to be level and well landscaped but no trees . All gravel roads in park. Outdated restrooms but very clean! We stayed for 4 days in a 31 ft rv. Had a good time we well visit the park again!! We camped at Spring Villa Park in a Motorhome.

This is a nice little out of the way, quiet park for an overnight or few day stay. There are hiking trails and a playground for the kids and even an old haunted house on the property.

The restrooms and showers are dated but clean and functional. The caretaker of the park is very friendly and helpful. A lot of the sites are pull-through and easy to access even for big rigs. Nice place to rest up when traveling through this area. We camped at Spring Villa Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Very nice well kept park. Good gravel roads and cement pads. Small, quiet and remote CG, 8 miles off the Hwy. We had a 50 amp power problem, one line went above the 132v max for our Electrical Management System causing intermittent power shut downs for our RV. At night I turned the pedestal power off. The rooftop sat dish worked fine, no trees in the campsite area. Our Sprint cell phones and hot spot did not work, no signal. We camped at Spring Villa Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a new park. Due to road repairs in the area, you had to go the long way around to get to the park. There is lots of space between the paved/raised sites. We were here as the only residents and appreciated the freedom to run the dog. Please pickup your dog’s droppings every time. This park has a leash regulation: use one on your dog at all times. Remember if we break the rules, parks will begin to deny pets as guests. Thanks! We camped at Spring Villa Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed here for two nights during Auburn's football season and it was really nice to be able to have a quiet place to come to away from all of the game chaos. There was only one other motor home there all weekend which was nice but I think there's a club that comes in once a month so you may want to check in advance to make sure there will be availability. They keep the lawns very well manicured and it has a beautiful old home at the entrance. We camped at Spring Villa Park in a Travel Trailer.

A bit out of the way but a wonderful place. The park is an old estate with an historic home on the property. In October the City of Opelika runs a haunted hay ride and the home is turned into a haunted house. Wonderful diversion indeed. The surrounding forests have a number of trails to walk and the park was very quiet the month I stayed. One weekend a local group of Good Sams used about a dozen of the spaces but the remaining time I had the whole place to myself. The manager and caretaker were extremely friendly and helpful and made the stay even more unforgettable. Park is about 15 miles from town so trips for groceries and laundry require a little driving. Best if you have a toad but I did the "commute" in my 40 foot coach with no real problems. We camped at Spring Villa Park in a Motorhome.
