We stayed for five days in Site 06, which is a bit larger than other sites. It is considered a "value" site with a lower daily rate. Roads are wide and access to the site was easy. We were unable to use our awning due to the location of the coach house. We did not have access to the coach house but had patio furniture in the backyard of the site. There were very few other guests in the resort while we were there and it was quiet and peaceful. WiFi and facilities worked well and office staff were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our time and would return again. We camped at Heritage Motor Coach Resort & Marina in a Motorhome.
Orange Beach is a lovely community with a great bike trail - the Hugh S. Branyon Backcountry Trail and lovely beaches. The Sunset Cork Room is a great place for wine and dinner - great food.

This resort sits on a beautiful spot on Bayou St. Jean. Many people have boats, which have direct access to the ocean. The sites would be large if there were not coach homes that take up half of the lot. They are wonderful for the owners, but renters rent the lot, not the amenities. We do have a 42 ft. motorhome and could get our slides out with some jockeying. No way to use our awning and we felt as if we were intruding on our neighbors when they were having nightly parties in their coach home/patio. We had a superior water view, lot 61. Grounds were immaculate.Very nice spot to spend a few days (4 nights) but not many members/renters around so I'm sure our experience was less full than others would have when more people are around. We had no access to the fitness room. The pool is beautiful but is a standing pool - no swimming room at all. Only about 20 ft. square. Grounds were immaculate. Much care is taken to keep them that way. We camped at Heritage Motor Coach Resort & Marina in a Motorhome.Undo

This park is very pretty, beautifully landscaped, shaded and extremely well maintained. HOWEVER it is GROSSLY overpriced even at off season rates. We don't mind paying luxury prices once in awhile for a luxury experience but this place does not deliver. Our site 61 was advertised and priced as "The very best resort site with water views all around you". There was a picture online of the bayou off the end of the site which was expansive and appealing with a table and chairs for relaxing. The reality was a tiki umbrella taking up 2/3s of our view out the front window - water could be seen by peering around the umbrella. The only view out the side windows was of the "coach" houses which are built right beside the parking pads and darned close to boot. Luckily no one was staying in the coach houses on either side of us or we would have had little privacy - our door opened onto the "party" area of the coach house on the next site. To make it even less value for the money we could not use anything except the parking pads and the hook-ups. Not allowed to touch the outside fireplace, the grill, the eating area - not even allowed in the club house except to pay the bill or if invited to a community cocktail event. To be fair Site 60 did deliver on the views as advertised and the dog park and private beach were nice. I've stayed at many State Parks with better water views and access - at a fraction of the price. So we will not be going back and will not recommend the place. Date of Stay: October, 2013 - $100.00
This resort is spectacular not only the large nicely landscaped sites but the owners of the lots are very welcoming to us as renters. We have traveled all over the eastern US and have not found anything that compares to Heritage RV Resort. The Alabama Gulf Coast at Orange Beach is a fairly newly developed area and has everything you could be looking for, shopping, restaurants and wonderful beaches. Our highest recommendation for this resort. We camped at Heritage Motor Coach Resort & Marina in a Motorhome.Undo
Date of Stay: May, 2013 - $65.00
Beautiful old oaks. Big rig friendly. Great clubhouse and pool and waterfront beach area. Good for pets. If you are here for a concert at The Wharf great location for easy access to the venue. Dog park close by. We camped at Heritage Motor Coach Resort & Marina in a Motorhome.Undo
Date of Stay: January, 2013 - $115.00
This is the best RV Resort we have visited. We stayed in space 79 with a full view of the water. The people were very friendly and welcoming. The amenities are wonderful, and it is pet friendly. There are many restaurants close by. We stayed here three nights, and it was wonderful. It is expensive, but we think it was worth it. Date of Stay: November, 2012 - $115.00
Beautiful park. Nice big sites. This is a owner resort where they own the lots, but some are available for rental. We stayed in site # 79 which is right on the end point. You can either pull in or back in. We pulled in so we could face the bay. The sun rise was Awesome! Definitely worth the $214.30 for the weekend. This ownership resort is all one could ask for. Right on the Gulf. Very friendly and helpful owners and staff. Developer sponsors catered dinner, full bar and entertainment every Sat. night. Ongoing construction but not an issue. Plan to visit again. We camped at Heritage Motor Coach Resort & Marina in a Motorhome.Undo

Great location, direct water access, pooch beach, and marina. Close to many restaurants and Publix grocery. Landscaping is breathtaking. All sites will fit 45 ft. rig plus toad. Construction ongoing. Watch out for roofing nails on the driveways, we found 4 on our site. Very kind resort director, concierge, and owners. Live music, catered foods, and open bar on weekends. Highly recommended. Class A only park with a beautiful club room, pool, etc. They have a marina for the owners. As others said, there is a lot of construction going on, so if you want to have quiet and not a lot of dust, make sure you ask for your site to be away from construction. The construction, brick work, etc., doesn't make for a good stay. The owners had a Derby party which was lovely, and we found them to be very friendly. That was a nice added touch. There are sites for sale, but no one tried to approach us about buying. In other words, it isn't a hard sell type situation. Our rate was with a 30% discount with a coupon from the Tampa RV show. There are good restaurants and a Publix close by if you have a car. We found the sites to be a bit narrow with the coach houses they have. You couldn't put your awnings out. Since our site was a "for sale" lot, we had no table. Our friends had furniture at theirs, but it was so dirty from the construction, they chose not to use it. We felt the management could be better about cleaning before new rentals come into the owned sites. Overall, it's a beautiful park and pretty close to the beach but a bit crowded for a number of reasons. We camped at Heritage Motor Coach Resort & Marina in a Motorhome.Undo
Date of Stay: March, 2012 - $60.00
A beautiful park that will be a 10 when construction is complete. Lots of construction noise and vehicles. Quite congested on weekends when owners show up with mutiple vehicles and golf carts, plus loud parties. We camped at Heritage Motor Coach Resort & Marina in a Motorhome.Undo

What a wonderful place. Cannot wait to come back. Stayed here on way back from Christmas in Dallas. We camped at Heritage Motor Coach Resort & Marina in a Motorhome.Undo
Date of Stay: August, 2011 - $55.00
Beautiful members type park. Fantastic facility - front office people very helpful. Great location on Bay - marina and water views. Nice - but small work out room - beautiful pool. Saturday night party was a big surprise. There are a number of cabana's under construction and there was a continuous stream of workers and trucks. Severals owners had multiple vehicles and golf carts on their lot - combined with the construction was congested. We camped at Heritage Motor Coach Resort & Marina in a Motorhome.Undo
Date of Stay: May, 2011 - $90.00
People are very friendly. Park has fabulous views overlooking the bay. Pool and hot tub overlook the bay also. Convenient access to local restaurants, some within walking distance. Paver-streets and mature oaks give the place a nice feel. Will definitely stay there again. We camped at Heritage Motor Coach Resort & Marina in a Motorhome.Undo
