5 Parks near Ozark, Alabama
May 2016 - $30.00
The owner could not have been more helpful. We arrived by tow truck, having broken down a few miles down the road. She knew the owner of the local car dealer and called him after hours to arrange for help to fix our motor home. Because of plans that couldn't be changed, we left the motor home there while waiting for parts, knowing that it was safely parked during our absence. We definitely will stay there again and hopefully get there under our own power. - slowlane

Great overnight stop. We stay here everytime we pass through this area as it is a lot cheaper than the nationally known RV park down the road. Easy in and out with level sites. We have never had a problem with the electric. Good water pressure. We get good Verizon reception here, and even though they have good cable we prefer our satellite which there is great satellite reception. Pet friendly. The owner is very nice and you will get escorted to your site, which is great for when you arrive after dark. It is very close to shopping and restaurants. - Liz I.
Mar 2015 - $30.00
Stayed at Mr. D's overnight on a trip to Florida. Long, level, paved site. Good utilities. Owner escorted us to our site even though it was dark and raining. Easy in and easy out. - BamaGradx2
Aug 2016 - $33.00
The second time we've stayed here. Very clean, paved roads, swimming pool, shade, dog run, good cable and WiFi, and mostly level paved sites. We stayed at six KOAs the past 3+ months and this is by far the best as well as most reasonable. - JCJ1
Jul 2016 - $35.00
A convenient stop along Rt 231. We stayed a few days conducting family business. The grounds and pool are all well kept. Plenty of places to walk the dog. Lee's China Buffet on 231 south was a great dinner spot. I was given a site just long enough for my truck and trailer. It was open to the sun and the RV baked all day. There were many long shaded sites available and they were empty. I should have said something and been moved. Or management might think to put RVs in the shade. My a/c would certainly use a lot less electricity and lower the campgrounds electric bill. I'm not a KOA fan to begin with and this hasn't helped. - Libby
Apr 2016 - $35.00
Very good stop on 231 going to or from FL. Lots of pull thru's. Very clean and pretty campground. Nice pond. Would give a 10 if sites were wider.
The concrete pads are nearby to one another with a sunny, open exposure and a patio with a picnic table. - thesilverback
Dec 2015 - $13.00
What a nice campground! Large level spacious lots, some very private, many with a view of the beautiful Lake Tholocco. There is a small playground and picnic shelters on site. Employees were very friendly and the campground is super secure, being on the base. It was very quiet and peaceful while we were there over the holidays, however, normally there would be occasional helicopters flying overhead, (which is pretty cool!)The paved roads were very nice for biking. The only drawback is no sewer hookups but the bathrooms and laundry are very large, nice and clean. Even in December with lots of rain, it was a very nice stay! - Jeni
Jun 2011 - $18.00
The stay was good but the big bummer is no sewer hook ups. I talked to the staff: sever hook-ups are coming and Wi-Fi too. The rate is the same everyday. The game wardens are all over the place, so have your fishing permit handy. - ttflightengineer
Oct 2008 - $15.00
Nice, clean and very well maintained. The staff were friendly and helpful. The only downside for us was the lack of sewer hook-up. After three days, the gray water needed dumping. For a two week trip, this was very inconvenient for us. Were able to get a good satellite TV signal and our Alltel wireless Internet worked great. Would stay here again if for a short time. - TeamBell
Feb 2016 - $20.00
Stay a couple of night of just getting away and finding some time to spend with the Lord. Perfect! The rv park was small but everything was great. - Skymessenger
Jul 2014 - $21.00
This is a great place to visit! The sinkhole walk is amazing and very cool. There is a big spring with two pools for swimming. Playground and volleyball area, too. Bathrooms were old but clean. Sites were plain and we had a pull-through site which was pretty level. Lots of shade and plenty of space. - LaMonte
Jul 2012 - $20.00
We stopped here on the way north and had a very nice stay. Beautiful park for rest and relation and we recommend it to all. - eugenia1

Jun 2016 - $22.00
Very nice park, clean, with good WiFi and cable. Pull-throughs are facing busy road. Only one men's and women's shower. Passport America price was good but don't believe the park is worth the $40 plus tax per night but good for a one night stop over. Could use a pool and rec center.
Check-in was very good. - flnomad

Kudos to an excellent customer service operation. Barb gave me more information than I believe I've ever gotten when checking in, Cpgrd map, Tv listing, wifi info, area points of interest with restaurants included.
Nice to see how a well run Campground is run, must be owner operated.
Site level, power good, water pressure tremendous.
Thanks for a nice stop. - budwang
