This was our first time staying in Red Bay, and this RV Park was recommended to us. We took a quick drive through the other parks in town and will certainly be staying here again when we return to Red Bay in a month.

Compared to "normal" RV parks throughout the country, this one would rank pretty low, but compared to all others in Red Bay it's great! It's a concrete parking lot (better than the others which are gravel), but a couple sites are quite un-level, side-to-side. Site spacing is OK for a parking lot style park, and hookups are behind the sites. Free WiFi was a pleasant surprise, and being able to use the fenced yard of the adjacent house as a dog park was nice. It's two blocks from the Tiffin plant, an easy walk.

The only downsides for us were: 1) lots of ants around the utility hookups, and 2) lots of noise, which is pretty inescapable in Red Bay. We camped at Red Bay Downtown RV Park in a Motorhome.

Best place to stay in Red Bay. Such nice folks that run it. Concrete lot instead on gravel like other places in Red Bay. Our dogs love the fenced in area that they can run around off leash. We camped at Red Bay Downtown RV Park in a Motorhome.

Like everyone who goes to Red Bay, we were there for service on our Tiffin motorhome. It was our first time there. Quite an interesting experience.

First 2 nights we stayed at a different place in town, but it was such a junkyard that we moved to Downtown RV Park when a site came open. No comparison. Downtown was by far the better place. It's very small, so you get to know your neighbors if you're there for a while. It's basically a parking lot, but there is plenty of room for your coach and toad. The Wi-Fi worked best at the sites closest to the nearby house, which is a rental property owned by the same couple who own the RV park.

One of the best things about Downtown RV Park is that it is off the main street. Other parks are on the main street (a highway, really) that runs through town and carries all the traffic that is going to the Tiffin service center. Another plus is that its paved. Other parks are gravel and very dusty. The Tiffin park is huge, crazy busy, and very noisy.

We will definitely stay at Downtown RV Park when we return to Red Bay for service on our motorhome. We camped at Red Bay Downtown RV Park in a Motorhome.

When the Tiffin Service Center campground is full, there are 3 or 4 other campgrounds to handle the overflow. We arrived during a real crush, and there was a frantic scramble to find a place for everyone to stay. We ended up at the Downtown RV park. The surface is a mix of asphalt and crumbled concrete - uneven in places but sufficient for leveling.

Full hookups were great, and the young lady who collected the money was lovely. Lots of trees there, so the satellite did not work.

The good news was that the service scheduler came to see us in the morning, and assigned us to the Express Service since our list of problems was short. He estimated that we'd move to the Tiffin campground in another day or two, and that our service would occur in 3-4 business days. This was at 10 AM on our first morning in Red Bay. By noon that day, a team of Tiffin techs in a mobile service van was at our site! Our problems were fixed in 2 hours, and we were checked out and on the road by 2PM! Kudos to Tiffin! This was certainly a record for us! In, fixed, and out in 24 hours!!!! We camped at Red Bay Downtown RV Park in a Motorhome.

Finding a place to stay in Red Bay while awaiting service on a Tiffin Motorhome can be problematic. The Downtown RV Park is a good place to stay. One can make reservation. The price of $20 a night is OK, and there is a weekly price of $100. The Park is reasonably clean, and one does not encounter the dust as in the Tiffin RV Park by the Tiffin repair facility. We will certainly stay here again when er return to Red Bay for service on our motorcoach. We camped at Red Bay Downtown RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is one of the overflow campground for Tiffin Service. It is about 10 sites and all on concrete. If you have a dog, the lawn to the rear is ok for walking as is the fenced in yard to let the dogs run a bit. Sites 5,6 7 have trees that block satellite, but the owner said we could pull forward enough to get a signal. There is water, good electric and sewer. Nothing else. But it is not dusty here like the Tiffin campground. Verizon signal is very good. We were in site 4, good sat. reception. Campground is close to downtown. Owners were very nice and friendly. It is a self pay campground, put the money in the envelope and put it in the box. No wifi or cable here, very basic but well kept and good for dogs. Plenty of room to back in. Would stay here again. We camped at Red Bay Downtown RV Park in a Motorhome.

We just left the Downtown campground in Red Bay. Great stay. Really enjoyed the concrete parking and grass area for our 2 dogs. Owners informed us that they now offer free WIFI! Would recommend to others and will return. We camped at Red Bay Downtown RV Park in a Motorhome.

We stayed here for a week while having service on our motorhome. It is better than staying at Tiffin's campground: all concrete, no mud or dust! It has water, power and sewer hookups and just recently added WIFI. We stayed in Site 3, some interference from a tree for satellite depending on the wind but I wouldn't give up that tree in the 96-98 degree weather going on. The manager and her staff are very friendly and very accommodating if you need help of any kind. Nice pleasant place to stay for a very fair price. Tips for other Campers:

Red Bay AL is a small town, everything is close by. A new restaurant, Mason Jar, recently opened up which is nice. There also is a Jacks, McDonalds, Subway and 4th Street Grill for decent eating places. There is a nice library and museum for a visit but you need to check on hours of operation. There is the Tiffin factory within walking distance of this park that gives tours.

When coming to Red Bay for service on our Tiffin Allegro Bus, we always stay here. The owners are very friendly and accommodating. It is totally paved which make it nice for a big rig, and there is a large grassy area to walk our dogs. No frills, but exactly what we need when we are in town! This is a self service park in downtown Red Bay. It was fine and our first time there. The $20 is the going rate for everything around there. Some sites (#4) have access to satellite TV was good. Sites are level on what look like the concrete floor of old buildings that were scraped. Very convenient to downtown area, the Tiffin Plant, and the shops in Red Bay. We would stay there again. It is hard to rate service at this park since this is a self-service park. Phone staff was very friendly. This is very close to the Tiffin factory, which we toured. The campground is a concrete pad which used to be the base of a building(s). There are no amenities, but for the price, you can't go wrong. We camped at Red Bay Downtown RV Park in a Motorhome.

If you are in for service at Tiffin this is a great alternative. It is a self-serve RV park. You leave cash or check in a box on site. There are only about 10 sites on a concrete slab. Full hook ups available. You still get the same service here as you would parked at the company site. It is in town so you can walk to restaurants, some shopping and groceries. Best part about this site is you avoid the dust at other sites. We camped at Red Bay Downtown RV Park in a Motorhome.

We stayed here while we were in town having maintenance work done on our motorhome. We have stayed previously at the service center campground and the self-serve campground, and we prefer this one so far. Since we are on concrete, there is no dust like there is at the other two campgrounds, and the downtown location is convenient (you can walk to the grocery store). Payment is cash or check, and you just leave your payment in an envelope in the payment box on site. The utilities worked well, and we had good cell service. We will definitely stay here again when in Red Bay. We camped at Red Bay Downtown RV Park in a Motorhome.

Hard to rate. It is a large cement slab where two buildings once were. You are parked on cement instead of gravel. All of the RV parks currently in operation are, 98%, used for people that come to Red Bay for service at Tiffin Motorhomes service facility. This is one of 3 overflow areas people use when the Allegro, Tiffin, campground is full. If you have been here when it rains, you will appreciate the cement. Most sites here have good satellite service. 4-6 could be the hardest for sat service. This lot is just behind the post office and an easy walk to downtown. There is a real RV Park being built at Red Bay but it is not open as of May, 2015. We camped at Red Bay Downtown RV Park in a Motorhome.
