This is not a campground, but a large unpaved parking lot with full hookups. Sites are narrow mostly pull throughs. You come here just for one reason: to get your Tiffin repaired at extremely reasonable prices. The campground is $20.00 a night for coaches out of warranty. You cannot reserve any sites. Sites in the 80's are toward the rear of the lot where there is more paving, due to proximity to the paint shops. Also less traffic at the back. You are here to get your coach worked on. Seek out experienced people who can show you the ropes, as the system of getting your coach worked on can be a bit confusing. Expect to be here for a few weeks. Ask for an express bay if you coach does not require any large repairs. Also, you can sit with your coach and talk to the techs. Ask them about "after hour services" lots of new awning being put on just off the property. Key here is to talk and ask, other campers, techs etc. They cannot upgrade any coaches here, just do repairs. But if you have a Tiffin this is the place and worth the wait. Not much food choice in the area. Wifi slow. Good Verizon signal for hot spot. Good laundry, also camp store has hard to find Tiffin coach items. You can only stay one day after repairs are finished. There are several private campgrounds in the area for the same $20.00 per night. Some people have to stage there to wait their turn to come into the Tiffin lot. Don't be afraid to go and ask questions, if you don't ask the answer is always no. We camped at Tiffin Motorhomes Service Area (For Service Customers Only) in a Motorhome.
Piggly Wiggly has meals to take out. The RV wash across the street from the campground is expensive. Ask around we found a wash and wax for our 35' for under $200.00. Good diesel service in the area. Fill up with diesel before coming to the campground. There is a Walgreens in the next town down. Closest Walmart in about 35-40 minutes away. Visit the Coon dog cemetery. Go for a beer at the Rattle snake saloon. Not much else to do here. Do wander though the bays and talk to people.

Abandon all hope, all ye enter here. No one wants to be here. It is a place where your very broken coach goes to feel better. It's like going to the hospital. No one wants to be there. You go, eat crappy food, see some things you'd wish you can un-see but can't and leave as soon as you can.
Red Bay, AL is a pretty bad place. It smells like dog food half the time because of the dog food plant. Stray dogs are abundant. If you are unfortunate to need to leave the coach, and happen to have pets, the only local alternative is a VERY CRAPPY motel next door.
This place is where hope goes to die. We will definitely think twice about buying Tiffin again simply because the location is so horrible. We camped at Tiffin Motorhomes Service Area (For Service Customers Only) in a Motorhome.

If you are driving a Tiffin Motorhome you must visit Red Bay!! No reservations, no appointments sounds scary but your stay will go quickly. Don't expect to be in and out of the service area quickly. We were told right up front it would be 3 weeks to complete the work we needed to have done. Turned out to be 2 1/2 weeks. The service at the Tiffin Service center is worth the wait, and a very good value. The staff in both the office and the service center were easy to work with. They try hard to communicate with you and let you know when your service will take place. The sites are just in a big , dusty gravel parking lot. Don't expect much but that is not why you are there. The reason the time goes quickly is that the clientele are all there for the same reason. If you want to learn about RVing and your rig this is the place to be. The parts store has all the things you need at very good prices. We camped at Tiffin Motorhomes Service Area (For Service Customers Only) in a Motorhome.
If you are waiting for service don't leave your RV between 7 am and 3 pm. You never know when you will get the call to come over to a service bay.
Be sure to check out the Used RV sales place across the street. They have a huge selection of used RV furniture if you want to upgrade something in your motorhome.

This is not a campground. It is just a parking lot with hookups for the unfortunate customers who own Tiffin motorhomes and need service. They do let you stay free if your repairs are covered under the warranty. The sites have full hookups and there is a laundry room and store but that's about it. WiFi is so slow it is just about non-existent.
Tiffin makes a good product but the way they treat their customers who need warranty repairs is disgraceful. Customers who arrive at the campground (service facility) which will not make appointments are being told that they will have to sit and wait a month for service. This is unacceptable!!! We camped at Tiffin Motorhomes Service Area (For Service Customers Only) in a Motorhome.
There is very little to do in the area.

Make our first trip (obligatory, they say, for Tiffin owners) to Red Bay for service on our Allegro Bus. The reduced fee of $10 a night camping rate was due to replacement of the cap rails on our 2011 rig, a manufacturer's recall by Tiffin which was performed free of charge. (The body work after replacement of the rails was contracted out to the Red Bay Body Shop located right next to the Tiffin manufacturing plant, also on Tiffin's nickel.) Coaches still under warranty pay nothing for camping fees, otherwise sites are $20. Sites are narrow, with 50/30 amp service and you will definitely get to know your neighbors, which is good! All of us had a lot in common, so much so that sometimes it was difficult at night to find your own coach, they are so alike. Water was turned off while we were there (nights in the 20s and 30s), but city water was available to fill your tanks whenever needed. The bathrooms have enclosed showers, warm and comfortable, and clean! Without water available at the campsites they got heavy use but I never saw them dirty. Tiffin has a new customer lounge to use while your coach is in a service bay, with very comfortable seating, TV, vending machines, one side for pets and the other without. Service was exceptional, fast and the price was definitely right. Made up for the fuel use to get there from Maryland. About 100 sites, with space for boondocking if the regular sites are full. Dusty. Not a lot of areas to walk pets but we got by, and people were generally good about policing after their dogs. A nice laundry room with about 4 or 5 modern washers and dryers, very clean with comfortable seating. Very reasonable, $1 for a wash, $.75 for the dryer. A few small local restaurants but the county is dry. Our best bet for lunch was the Subway on Main Street at the #4 stoplight. There is a new Walmart market, just opened in early December 2014, about 5 miles away in the neighboring town of Belmont, Ms. Saves a 25 mile trip to the nearest Walmart supercenter. Otherwise Red Bay has a couple of small grocery stores, such as the Piggly Wiggly. Would definitely return whenever we need to. Worth it to get your work done promptly, efficiently, and by people who know your coach and how to repair it. We camped at Tiffin Motorhomes Service Area (For Service Customers Only) in a Motorhome.

Much or all of the staff in the office and store are new, so if you need info, ask a Tiffin owner. The water was turned off on 13 Nov, which is about the normal time for CRB (Camp Red Bay to you non-Tiffin coach owners). The water faucets have been fixed and secured so they are not loose in the box. Wifi is much improved. With the extension of the service building toward the south, much of the lot in that area is being paved. That is because the new bays are for painting and they need to get rid of the dust around those bays. The new paving encourages the workers to drive at mach 3 around the campground. Where it has not been newly paved, rain still turns the place into grey slime. The new visitors lounge is very nice. If you want to sit outside, the Allegro Club has invested with some nice furniture under a covered patio by the club. Prices in the store have jumped, so check on Amazon first. This is a straight forward basic parking lot for Tiffin RV owners. The camp store, RV office, Tiffin office, customer waiting room are all pleasant places to spend your time while waiting for service. The Tiffin employees are all very friendly and helpful. There is plenty of grass areas around the RV sites to walk the pets but no shade trees. Red Bay has a few stores and eating places to find what you need during the stay. The area has grown over the years. Would definitely stay here again. We camped at Tiffin Motorhomes Service Area (For Service Customers Only) in a Motorhome.

This clearly is not a destination park unless you are an owner of a Tiffin coach and need repairs done on it or want to tour the factory. Staff is friendly. Sites are narrow but relatively level. Water pressure is 80psi which newer Tiffin coaches can apparently tolerate. Wifi is free but very slow and requires signing on after a period of inactivity. Very complete parts store and a nicely furnished Allegro Club accessary shop. A new customer service lounge is being constructed. Nearby businesses have lots of grass to walk pets. Rate was $0 because we have a new Tiffin motorhome that is still in the first year of warranty ($20 otherwise). This is basically a parking lot for those Tiffin motorhomes waiting for service. It is very convenient to the service bays and does provide full hookups. We stayed for two nights and would stay again if we need service. What can I say about this park? Red Bay is a tiny town, and a person who is at this campground is there for one reason only- to get their motorhome repaired. The roads are broken asphalt and dirt, punctuated with mud when it rains. 90% of the sites are pull through, for which I am grateful, since I am lousy at backing up. The good thing about the campground is the camaraderie that develops while we wait for our repairs. Early mornings are always interesting, as 40+ coaches are driving every which way to get into their assigned bay for service. Kind of an "anti" demolition derby sort of thing. I will definitely stay there again if my coach needs work. We camped at Tiffin Motorhomes Service Area (For Service Customers Only) in a Motorhome.

The service we received here was top notch, but more needs to be said about the campground. Most of the full hook up sites are on the dirt, save the sites at the end of the runway. 80-86 I believe. They are back ins and the rig sits on the old asphalt of the runway. Dust is an issue there though, as you are next to the employee parking lot. At 3:30 and 4:30 after work a heard of employees take off in their cars, some pretty fast. A cloud of dust hangs in the air. There was a Tornado warning while we were there. The tornado shelter is in the customer lounge. Not a lot of shelter there, but better than hiding out in the RV. If you are in the first year of ownership and still under factory warranty, your campground fees are waived. We camped at Tiffin Motorhomes Service Area (For Service Customers Only) in a Motorhome.

This park is a benefit for customers who are having service or work done on their motorhome. There was no water at all available at individual sites; only at 2 areas where one could fill their tanks. It was very cold so there were 2 locations where we could get propane that we used; one was L and L and the other was McKinney RV. They are both close to the campsites. We also did not use the sewer at the site and were encouraged to use the RV water/wash sites. This campground is extremely dusty when it is dry and very muddy when it has rained. It is located on the site of an old airport and the directional markings can still be seen on the concrete. This park stays very busy and perhaps due to that, potholes are forming on the grounds that could use a repair. The staff, office personnel, and mechanics are very friendly and competent and helpful in regard to places to eat, shop etc. There are 5 washers($1 each) and 5 dryers($.75 each for about 50 minutes). There's not many places to walk one's dogs and most but all people do not clean up after their dog. We will be back because this is the best and only place for good, reasonable repairs on our motorhome. We camped at Tiffin Motorhomes Service Area (For Service Customers Only) in a Motorhome.

A campground with absolutely no ambiance, but if you need Tiffin factory service then it is really the best choice in the area. Mostly pull thrus with a few back ins in the full hookup area. Also a bunch of dry camping spots for when the 100 full hookup sites are full (which happens at the start and end of the snowbird season). No reservations taken (for the campground or service), it is first-come first-serve. When the weather is predicted to freeze, they turn off the water and leave it off but there is water in the service bays and at the wash pads. No propane fills available at the campground but there is an RV dealer across the street who does propane fills (walk over there first to see how to get your rig to the propane fill). There is also occasional propane availability down by the dog food plant - call first to make sure someone is there who can fill the tank. Power ok, water ok (when on), sewer ok (but can be a problem getting a slope), wifi comes and goes (generally adequate when available), moderate Verizon signal with ok data speeds, no problem with satellite access. We will stay here again only if we need factory service. Note campground is free for first year warranty coverage. Nice, quiet place to stay while our RV was worked on at Tiffin Motorhomes. This was formerly an airport. All sites are pull through and have full hookups, although the water is turned off when temps are below freezing. If water is off at the sites, you can still fill your tanks at nearby frost-free potable water in the RV washing area. If your RV has to stay in the repair garages overnight, Tiffin offers owners accommodation in travel trailers set up at one end of the campground. (They've thought of everything!!) You are allowed to stay in your motorhome and watch (and learn) while it is being worked on or you can hang out in the customer lounge (very comfy chairs). You can go shopping at the parts store (very friendly staff) or at Allegro Club (hats, shirts, coffee cups and such). Tiffin has a factory tour at 9:30 a.m. daily. The factory is a couple miles from the campground. Cost shown reflects the current campground price, although our stay was free of charge. The previous reviews are accurate, and little has changed at the Service Area over the years. It is a waiting area for RV service, with full hook-ups that work well. There is a pad for washing RV's The major complaint from everyone, and has been a problem for at least the last ten years, is the dust. The traffic of the RV's in and out of the service bays every day raises dust that will eventually coat your freshly washed RV. Still I have stayed at this park for every year getting yearly service at Tiffin, and without doubt will return again. We camped at Tiffin Motorhomes Service Area (For Service Customers Only) in a Motorhome.
