RV park very clean and well maintained. Pull-through on grass. Large and wide sites. Washer and dryer very clean. Internet worked well. Not close to shopping. Would stay here again. We camped at Azalea Acres RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.Undo

I just stayed one night but loved this quiet, dark out of the way place so close to I-10 (Exit 53). I called when I pulled off the interstate and was met at the gate and led to my drive thru spot on the grass (FHU). Price was PA. The lady working there was very nice. I was invited to a appetizer party at the clubhouse, but was so tired from driving that day, I didn't go, but sure appreciated the invite. It does look like there are a number of snowbirds and they are scattered at the edge of the park where the trees are. The only thing that keeps this from being a 10 for me was the lack of shade. I don't need a pool. WiFi was excellent and I got several TV channels over the air. Bathrooms are spotless. I would definitely stop here again. We camped at Azalea Acres RV Park in a Motorhome.Undo
Date of Stay: October, 2014 - $28.00
Nice overnight stay campground. Interior roads are dirt and there is no pool. About half of the sites were occupied by long term campers but that is not a problem. There about half a dozen sites with large concrete pads (~20X40 foot) for overnight folks that are located close to the office/bath house. Showers are huge and very clean. We would stay here again. Call host once off interstate and someone will meet you at park entrance. Doing so will save riding around park to get to your parking spot. We camped at Azalea Acres RV Park in a Travel Trailer.Undo

Very nice park close to I-10 but without the noise. Very well maintained and friendly staff. Very few shaded sites most are out in the middle of a huge field like setting. Everything worked as claimed, no surprises even Wi-Fi worked great but park was about 80% empty. Definitely a park I would stay at again. We camped at Azalea Acres RV Park in a Motorhome.Undo
Date of Stay: March, 2014 - $25.00
New owners are working hard to improve park. New showers/restrooms, laundry (although very expensive.. $2.50 a load), and new gathering room. They have lots of events & gatherings. I hope they add more cement pads, but I think they'll get to that. Would have rated it higher, but there's a shooting range close by so shooting noise goes constantly. Also very friendly! PA discount is reflected in rate. Park is in pleasant, safe feeling countryside area. Nice parking lot style park, well maintained, clean, quiet except for distant traffic of I-10. Small trees needing time to grow. Park is surrounded by trees, so the distant viewscape is pleasant. Gravel roads, sand and grass, mostly level sites. Utilities worked well. Internet good (some slow page loads and occasional disconnects) and TV antenna reception very good. Accommodating, friendly staff. Lots of dog walking areas. Price reflects Passport America rate, cash. Well maintained park and helpful campground staff. Nice large pull-through sites even for the largest rigs with multiple slideouts. We just used this park as an overnight stop while traveling. We didn't bother to hook up water. Good Wi-Fi even though we were far from the office. Good over the air TV reception. One sharp turn getting to the campground, but certainly manageable. We would stay here again. We camped at Azalea Acres RV Park in a Travel Trailer.Undo

We were greeted and shown to a site by a very friendly resident of the campground. The office was open 8-5 on the day we were there. Most of the sites with any shade appear to be occupied by long term residents. The park was very clean and neat. Our site had a very nice, level concrete pad for the coach and adjacent patio. The sites are very large. Most sites are grass and it appears that they are adding new concrete parking/patio pads. Hookups were in excellent condition and well placed. Wi-Fi worked well. We stayed there for 8 days and it was a very enjoyable stay. We enjoyed our trips into Foley and Robertsdale. Especially to the train museum and to a Buffet in the old Armory. I think it was called Harvest house. Near by at the I-10 exit there is a train themed restaurant Derailed Diner which has good food. The sites were spaced far enough to give quiet a bit of privacy. Rates reflect PA. Stopped by for 2 nights. Easy off and on the interstate. They like you to call when you get off the interstate to meet you at the entrance and escort you to your site. Sites are large and grassy with a few concrete sites. Owners personally involved and friendly and helpful. We camped in a 5th wheel. There are a few permanent FT residents but campground doesn't have that feel. Sites are clean and well maintained. Would recommend campground. Didn't use laundry but had plenty of machines. Office is friendly and campers congregate in the mornings for coffee. Great internet. We camped at Azalea Acres RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.Undo

Rate reflects PA. Great little campground for overnight or longer. Very easy on and off the interstate. They meet you at the gate and bring you to your site. Sites are fairly level. Roads are gravel and site is grass. Sites are large. Good utilities including excellent Wi-Fi. They are still adding amenities to this park and will be very nice when completed. Personal service by the owners in this park is very refreshing. We camped at Azalea Acres RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.Undo

At the time we stayed at the campground, it was primarily filled with a small number of permanent residents and mostly snowbirds. Parking is on a pretty level grass field with full hookups. The sites are quite large with lots of room to pull in and out. Restrooms were very nice. Has a homey feel to the place. Free coffee and a card game in the community room daily. Azalia The park is some what level with very spacious sites on grass/dirt. A high point is the nice community building which houses the bath/showers, office, laundry, etc. The showers get a 10+ and are a model for other parks to duplicate. Wi-Fi is super but we were on site 17, directly under the antenna. The hosts were nice and the park was 50% filled to date with winter guests. They like for you to call when you get off I-10, exit 53, so they can meet you at the gate and lead you to the site they have for you. I prefer to visit the office first and review site options. The laundry required $2.50 for a washer which we thought was high. We had lunch at the Derailed Dinner at exit 53 which has a very nice menu and good food. We were limited to 2 days only at the PA rate, a recent change which we informed of when we called. There are 3 other RV parks in the immediate area. This campground is easily accessible from I-10, facilities are exceptionally clean. The people who work here are friendly and helpful. Someone shows you to your site, and makes sure you are parked and ready to hook-up before he leaves. This rate is the Passport rate. We camped at Azalea Acres RV Park in a Motorhome.Undo
Date of Stay: June, 2012 - $14.00
While not a destination park, it would be if they added a pool. Hosts are great. Only negatives are the gun range that is near by and its noise during the day and the lack of shade trees. Trees will come with age. The WiFi is very good. Sites are grass but level. We will stay here again. Map shows exact location. We camped at Azalea Acres RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.Undo
