Stayed 2 nights in a 43' motorhome to visit the NAS Museum in Pensacola and the Gulf Shores. Smooth check-in, very friendly camp host and easy on-off from I-10 in a quiet location. Very accommodating...called ahead because we were a little early and camp host was waiting for us at entrance. Interior road is hard gravel with easy navigation. Our site was a pull-through full-hookup level concrete site (#11). No cable but many OTA channels. Good spacing between sites. Some sites are grassy and some are concrete where the larger coaches are situated. Sites along perimeter are shaded back-ins. Lots of space to walk your dog. We were there in off season but camp host advises that in season is sold out 1 year in advance. Midway location to Foley, AL and NAS Museum. Lots to do in area and will return to spend more time. We camped at Azalea Acres RV Park in a Motorhome.

9530. This is an immaculately maintained RV Park. Staff at check in were so friendly and helpful. Interior roads are gravel and big rig access was good. Our pad was a concrete pull through, all sites were very large, ours was 43' x 92' so plenty of space for our towed and a small picnic table. The park is located on 24 lovely acres, beautifully tended and has lots of walking trails to enjoy. It was very quiet both day and night which we really appreciated. The laundry and restrooms were spotless. WiFi was excellent. It's an easy drive to Mobile, Pensacola and the beautiful beaches. We would definitely stay here again. We stayed here for an overnight on our way out West! The campgrounds are nice. We got a Concrete pad site and it was level. Many of the other sites are grass or gravel. Both ATT & Verizon had full bars. The electric, water & sewer connections are in easy access for hook up. The bathrooms were spotless and updated with nice tile. The one downside on our visit was the water heater was broken so no Hot water for our stay, only cold water. We will definitely stay here again when in the area. We camped at Azalea Acres RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Our second visit. Still a beautiful campground with long and wide sites. There are some overnight or short term sites with concrete pads. The restrooms are very clean and well-supplied. Did not use the laundry this trip. Plenty of room to walk around. There's a Camping World in Robertsdale (about 8 miles away), a Publix Market and a large shopping center in Spanish Fort (about 20 miles away), and a large Tanger Outlet in Foley (about 30 miles away). Gulf Shores is about 30 miles away. There are several restaurants in the area (Spanish Fort, Foley, and Gulf Shores). Much of the campground is taken up by snowbirds so, if you are interested in visiting, make your reservations early. We would return. We camped at Azalea Acres RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed for 4 nights in our 40 ft motorhome, towing. Our site was very large, concrete and fairly level. Plenty of room between neighbors. The wi fi was excellent. The staff and guests were so very friendly and welcoming. We felt at home right away. The entire rv park was spotless. The restrooms and laundry facility was also super clean. We will absolutely stay here again. We camped at Azalea Acres RV Park in a Motorhome.

Date of Stay: September, 2017 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

This site truly lives up to the high rated reviews that it has received. Value: We paid $33 /night in September: on our way back from evacuating Hurricane Irma in Florida. Every other full-hookup with working (or not working) WiFi on our route charges $40+ The camp sites are mostly leveled grass sites. They are so large, they could have easily fit four (4) campers in them. They have picnic tables, but no fire rings. The ground is perfectly well maintained, although the young trees are not providing any shade yet. Services -

They ask that you call the office as you exit the interstate; someone then waits for you at the gate in a golf cart to escort you to your pull-through site before you register. Everyone is very friendly. Cleanliness - Cleanliness is where this campground really excels. The modern vacuum-flush toilet, the beautiful floor tiles, even the advanced shower temperature control handles are just immaculate. The open recreation pavilion is well insulated and sports a curiously efficient ceiling fan that allows me to comfortably sit there in September 90° to type this review. I definitely would stop at this site again, first. We camped at Azalea Acres RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

The park has the largest sites of any campground I have stayed in over the past 10 years. As instructed I called the office when I left the interstate, an employee met us at the gate, and guided us to our site. One day, free nutty buddies ice cream was served and the next day all the hot dogs, baked beans, coleslaw and drinks you could eat were served. An additional discount was given to those who were fleeing Irma. This an outstanding campground with the most helpful and generous staff. On top of the afore mentioned attributes the sites were HUGE. We camped here in a 42' 5th wheel. We camped at Azalea Acres RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

We have stayed here before and were not disappointed again. The staff is terrific. This is an all adult RV Park (children can stay for overnight visits or for up to 2 weeks). This appeals to snowbirds. Staff related that they keep sites # 1-3 open for overnight or short stays. The site had a huge concrete pad. The rest of the site was grass and we were not right on top of our neighbors. We did not use any of the facilities. WiFi and Cable TV were good. The only problem we saw was the abundance of fire ants. We have them where we live but if you are not familiar with them be careful walking through the grass watching for their mounds. We camped at Azalea Acres RV Park in a Motorhome.

Park manager stayed to help us around 6 PM, very nice folks. Well maintained park. Spacious clean sites. We did not have to unhitch our 40 ft fifth wheel! Bathrooms sparkling clean, large clean showers, with nice decorative touches. They have trash pick up at the sites daily. I would definitely stay there again. Listed in Passport America book but not accepting it currently. Very friendly staff, nice large sites. Electric is wired incorrectly--reverse polarity. Nice big level concrete pad to park on but you have to motor over pad to climb on it. They need to build ramp/slope up and down pad. We camped at Azalea Acres RV Park in a Motorhome.

The sites are very large with well maintained grass, with some concrete pads to park on. Our 63 foot combo of 40' MH and pickup looks small on the site. Have stayed here three other times....all one-niters, and pleased every time. This trip the owners saved my bacon by providing an item I forgot to bring on our 3,300 mile trip. Very nice owners running a very nice park. We just sent our friends here in April and they agreed this park is at top of their list also. We camped at Azalea Acres RV Park in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

This campground lives up to its reputation as the Gulf Coast's Best Kept Secret. The sites are huge and can accommodate any size rig. Some sites have picnic tables and concrete pads, but not all. The restrooms are clean and modern (the campground is only about 8 yrs. old). All sites are full hookup but my husband says the one urinal and 1 commode in the men's room is not adequate as a line forms every morning. The laundry is clean with industrial grade washers and dryers. There is minimal shade but here are trees planted that will eventually correct that problem. It is only about 25 miles to the Gulf Shore with all the restaurants and shopping and even closer to the Causeway over Mobile Bay with restaurants and shopping in Spanish Fort, Fairhope and Foley (including a Tanger Outlet. There are many seasonal campers so reserve early if you plan an extended stay. One can usually get short term accommodations if they call ahead. It is owner-managed and is being constantly improved and is very attractive with flower beds, seasonal shrubbery (mainly azaleas and roses), and the like. And, there is a pizza maker who will deliver to the campground several evenings a week. The owner organizes monthly get-togethers (ice cream socials and pancake breakfasts for example). The daily rate is based on our weekly rate. We also paid a deposit on electric and any left-over monies were refunded. We camped at Azalea Acres RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Visit Daphne and Fairhope on the eastern shore of Mobile Bay, Spanish Fort near the tip of the Bay, Foley and Gulf Shore State Park as well as the Gulf beaches. Plenty of shopping (including a Tanger Outlet in Foley), great restaurants, many good grocery stores and a Camping World in Robertsdale. If you enjoy walking, there is a lot of area to roam including some wooded trails.

This is the nicest park we have stayed at. Price reflects monthly rate. Big rig friendly with wide spaces and long enough for pull behind vehicles too. Mostly grass lots, some concrete pads for overnight guests. Park accepts Good Sam. Bathrooms/showers are the cleanest we have ever seen. We stayed here many times. Easy on / off I-10. Great, friendly staff. Will definitely stay here again, this coming fall / winter. We camped at Azalea Acres RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This park is mid way between Mobile, AL and Pensacola, FL. It's about 30 minutes either way on I-10. It's about 40 minutes to Gulf coast. Lots of great restaurants, shopping and Camping World is 20 minutes away, across the street from Wal Mart.

We only were there passing through for one night, but it was very nice. The manager had us call when we were a few minutes away then met us up front and showed us to our site. The next day, we were having trouble getting our big slideout in. My husband was having some medical issues and was unable to get on his knees. The owner was tending her beautiful roses and sent a gentleman to help. He was able to get it in so we could be on our way. The park is nice, mostly level gravel site. It was very clean and the wifi was very good. We camped at Azalea Acres RV Park in a Motorhome.

Very clean & well maintained. All Pull thru sites. Open with no shade. Easy in & out. No picnic table at our site, not that it was a problem, but all others had one. Grass between sites. Appeared like there were some long term units, but all well kept up. Would give a higher rating, but some rules regarding pets were unreasonable... i.e. pets had to be leashed from the vehicle to trailer, even it was a distance of a few feet. Didnt even have time to get a leash on our dog or even kindly told about their rule & felt like we were being the riot act & unwelcome. Barking dog all night in space next to us would seem to be a bigger problem, but was last night there for us so just let it be. Lots of other parks around the area to pick from. We camped at Azalea Acres RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
