If you have children, this place is perfect. If you want a nice quiet time, it isnt for you. By 9:30 am, 5 school buses were here for a field trip. Small clean campground. Showed up at 5:20pm, the open sign was on, but no one was there. Our site, #15, had only 20amp service, which meant we could not run the air conditioning in the Alabama heat. No other site could accommodate the length of our motorhome. If you have laundry to do, there is only one washer and one dryer. Make sure you have change. The change machine does not work. Bring earplugs and have a fan if you sleep past 8am, because 150 kids is loud. - StephanieBekker

This is a small campground, but very nice. A little old. There are things for kids to do. There is a very nice pavilion for your use and a little stream where the kids love to play in the water. They also have a cave and splash park. Games and rides a little gift shop and snack shop. - Goodlooking70

Nice park. Small and bathrooms were easily accessible. There were only three stalls and there were lines each morning waiting for showers. Bathrooms are inside with the showers but there are extra bathrooms near the fun park.
Fun park was on the expensive side. We hoped that more things were included, like the pumpkin painting and s'mores roasting, but they were all extra costs.
Overall it was a nice park, but costly.
Our site was on a slight slant. - HeFFeR718
May 2006 - $17.00
This park is located on Mitchell Lake. We camped here hoping to catch fish. The campground was very noisy. We heard boat traffic all night long both nights we were there. The ranger was very nice and friendly. There were no fire rings, grills or tables at the sites. - A White
Nov 2017 - $21.00
We have been here several times visiting relatives. It is an enormous state park on Lake Martin with over 500 sites. Many sites have 30 amp FHU. A few sites have 50 amp FHU. Rates are discounted after Nov 1. Weekly and monthly rates are available. Easy access from US 280. Easy check-in. Reservations are available, but not necessary in November. Well laid out campground. The sites are asphalt. Utilities worked as expected. Interior roads are asphalt. Propane is available on site. - 15243
Oct 2017 - $63.00
Very nice park located in Alexander City, AL directly on Lake Martin. Pricey to stay here but for a night at $63 I'll take it as the view at sunset will be stunning. Nice concrete pad with fire ring and stand up charcoal grill. - TravellerLott
Oct 2017 - $22.00
This was a pretty nice park but I found the sites too close together and some didn't have much usable area besides the trailer pad. Ours didn't even have a fire ring. We were there for some fall festival with kids trick or treating so it was very busy but suprisingly quiet at night. I'd go back if I could get site B34 or one in the E loop. - MSSW
Aug 2017 - $40.00
Small dirt sites. Not anything close to level. Both 30 and 50 amp power, but a little out dated and was off for half the day Sunday. No caps on sewer, so kinda stinks in different areas of park. Bath house very dated. There is a pool, but it also is 40 plus years old. No wifi, and cell phone kinda works. - Sweettea1968
May 2017 - $35.00
Wow! Value was ok, and the campground is pretty clean, but don't disagree with the manager. Not friendly. Rude. Will not return. - WeRV2008
Apr 2017 - $30.00
Pictures on web site are very deceiving. Crowded with mostly permanent residents. Dirt sites that are not level. We could not fit in the site they assured we would fit into so we had to leave. - PositiveOutlook
