We arrived after 11:00 pm looking for a place to stay for the night. The park is simple to find off the highway (I-65), their signage is very good. There was a well lit check-in spot explaining the costs, late check-in process and what spots are available for overnight. Payment is honor system after hours, placing payment in a locked box at their office. They have a nice map of the park but the numbers weren't all there so we weren't sure where some of the spots were, and being so late we wanted to be as less disruptive to the other campers as possible. We ended up in the open end spot, which was tough to get into with a 36' motorhome towing a car, but we managed. There was a concrete pad that was quite level. Sewer and water were on the correct side, power was on the other side but reachable with our standard cord.
Being that we were on the end spot as you enter the park we heard every car that came into the mobile home park (it's all one huge property) which was surprisingly consistent all night long. The park is also right on US-31 which is also very busy.
The after hours check-in sheets gave the codes for laundry and showers, but we did not look at either so I cannot comment. The overall property appeared clean and well kept so I'd assume they are nice and clean as well.
This park met our needs perfectly. We arrived very late, had full hookups on a level pad, and left early. We would use them again for a stopover if needed, but not somewhere we'd stay for an extended time. - OnDaRox
We camped here on Memorial Day weekend for 2 nights visiting family on our way down to Biloxi, MS. This is definitely a no frills campground. We were told by family members that it was flattened by a tornado a couple of years back. In spite of all this, it was very clean, and quiet. We had a pull thru site with a concrete patio. Plenty of area to walk our dog, and there is a small playground. We did not use the shower facility or clubhouse, but they looked clean. The campground is close enough to Decatur and Huntsville. - WyldeRaven
We just checked in and there are only five pull thru sites. Only one of the sites has the electric, sewer, and water on one side. The other four lots had the utilities spread from one side to the other side. We saw the campground on this site reviewed and also picked up a brochure at the welcome center. Both the brochure and the
RVParkReviews stated they have cable. They Do Not have cable. They also advertised WiFi but you have to walk to their WiFi room somewhere to use it. The site does have a narrow concrete pad and half a picnic table. The showers and laundry are in a modular building right in front of the drive thru lots. It is on a busy highway, but at least close to the interstate. Hopefully, the night will go well. - Wegottabkrazy
