This is our third time at this facility. We just love this park and the people that run it. The bath house and pool area look like something from a magazine. They clean everything every day and if you see something and mention it to one of the staff they take care of it right away. We were here on the weekly rate so the rate stated above is what our site would have cost us for one night with the Good Sam discount. The nightly rates run from $38 to $50 non-discounted depending upon how close to the pool and bath house you are. There are 2 lighted "porches" with rockers, swings, and picnic tables on either side of a huge communal fire pit. The clubhouse is much more complete than last year. There are multiple seating areas with televisions and various games. The water pressure is good, the power is stable, the WIFI is adequate. The rules are enforced, but not obnoxiously so. - STBRetired
Dec 2017 - $40.00
We arrived in October and left in December. Most who stay at this park stay for long-term stays. Many one-night visitors, also. First of all, the owners ROLL OUT THE CARPET for EVERYONE. You will be hard pressed to find such gracious owners. Weekly activities in the spectacular club house, off-site adventures, cook outs, community fire pit, your name on a site chalkboard. The owners hang out with you, at the fire pit, also. You are escorted to your site. When you check in, you are welcomed with open arms, given helpful information about the Mobile area, gift jar of TRAFFIC JAM jelly. The site next to us was a one-night visitor site and rarely did we hear visitors come or go. If possible, the owners will accommodate you in any way they can. Never hesitate to ask a question. Beautiful, gated community, landscaping is beautiful along with seasonal decorations on each site. I can honestly say that I've NEVER seen such impeccably clean restrooms and laundry facility, not to mention the southern decor in all of the rooms. Owners are adamant about 'scoop your dog's poop', which gives us a clean area to walk our dogs. Absolutely loved our stay at this park. We tell everyone about it. If there is a negative comment, by anyone, it'd be caused by something very rare and unusual. We tell everyone about this park and look forward to returning. - YorkieMom62
Dec 2017 - $23.00
We booked in longer than the other reviewers, and everything is like they all said. But sites are so tight, that when we left the only way we could clear the site safely, was for partner to hold back bicycle tire and sign post in opposing positions while I drove out. We were given site under the only tree, and as it was cold and we could get no sun, we asked to be moved to one of the many sites that were open. No The reason became evident as this is a stopping in to rest place on the way to somewhere else. Every morning at 5:30, or if we were lucky, 6 am, people would start packing up, banging things shut, loud talking, walking dogs, as they prepared to leave. And the real reason, the owners would not let us move to different site ? Because since we were a travel trailer, we were the only one they could fit under the tree, because of the huge limb which would have demolished anything higher, like a fifth wheel or coach. Plus. We had booked longer and since they do not give back either the deposit or refund any amount already paid , no worries for them. Also as someone else had mentioned , there are several barking dogs, on other side of the park fence, which because they are tied up outside, bark loudly and continuously. So, if you need a place for one night , this is it. Do not book longer, but pay for every nite you stay on a daily basis, because this is a very nice but transitional only, park . No one stays very long. - Freeasabird

We left our Motorhome here when we had to return North for a week. While we did not actually stay in the park, we would have no hesitation about staying in the future. The park is a little rough around the edges and is in the process of renovation. The owner, employees and residents were excellent and went beyond to help us out. - Minniemax
Sep 2017 - $40.00
OK, so we were evacuating due to Hurricane Irma and this was the ONLY place we could find that had a site available. At that point I wasn't picky. However, this place is really run down & trashy looking. Many of the RV's have been there 10 yrs or more and they look it! Really old, dirty, with junk all around them. And at $40.00 per night, it was ridiculous. On the good side, we had full hook-ups, cable worked great with a lot of channels and the staff were nice but they couldn't give me a WiFi password without all my devices' ID addresses for them to put in their computer. Huh? No one else does this so I said forget it. There is a pool, laundry, shower/bathroom at the house structure (where the owners live I presume) that is much nicer than the rest of the park. We stayed only one night because I knew we could get something better for $40/night. Unless you have no other choice, move on. - new FL camper

Awful place, a feeling of creepy sums it up best. We drove in, met owner, and left. Worst park I ever drove into (and out of). Plenty of other parks down the road if you are going to Bellingrath Gardens. - User2407

I have a 42' fifth wheel, was very easy in and out of park and sites. A good value for an overnight stop with PA. Quite a few extended stay guest, but sites were clean. No wifi or cable tv, 15 OTA tv channels. Nice country atmosphere and no freeway noise. 10 min. to I-10. They have propane, but is expensive. pay for convenience. I would stay here again. - MountainFolk
Nov 2017 - $27.00
We were on a cross country trip for the Thanksgiving weekend, so we arrived after sunset and left fairly early the next day. This is an older park with gravel roads and plenty of grass. Sites were level and spacing between sites were acceptable. One note is that they don't accept credit cards (cash only) and no WIFI available. - Carried Away
May 2017 - $22.00
Entrance to the Park was down a long single lane road. The setting looked very peaceful and comfortable. My first thought, based on previous reviews was one of concern. I thought it would be more of a farm-like appearance, but not so. Granted there is many droppings of goose poop, but it was not overwhelming. Did not notice much of any odor. Sites are grass and gravel, FHUs with 30 and 50 amp service. We just had two days of heavy rain but all sites were clean and dry. Check in was easy; good satellite and cell service. We were there for just one night. I-10 was 30 minutes away. - Nautilus

This place was really old. You could tell that upkeep was not a priority. The residents there, were just that, residents. No vacationers other than us, just people that have lived there for a really long time. - refugee

Mar 2018 - $30.00
This appears to be an older RV Park. It's very close to I-10 so easy off/easy on. Nice size pull thru sites with a small picnic table. Full hookups-50 amp, cable, WiFi (not very good) & laundry. Seems like there are a lot of full time residents but very quiet. $30 total. Nice for 1 night. Felt safe. Would stay again when passing thru. - hdhawg1340

Charming small park in quiet neighborhood. Great on site owners with hands on management. Nicely groomed grounds, concrete patios. Full hook ups. Very welcoming homely park. Will continue to visit. - 12 wheels rolling
Apr 2017 - $120.00
The bathrooms were nasty. The park was nasty. Looked to be run down and full of trashy people. The cops were out there several times during our stay here. From other residents talking to us there is a lot of theft going on in this park you have to watch your stuff. Very loud. All night long loud vehicles kept passing our fifth wheel waking us up. Not well lighted at all. Lot of junk at everyone's campsite. - Cassie73

Jul 2016 - $15.00
Stayed briefly in July. Lady at front desk was very nice and accommodating. Didn't use restrooms/bathhouse. View of the pond on the premises is very relaxing and peaceful. Also noticed they have cute little cabins for rent. Overall we enjoyed our stay and will go back if in the area again. - sweetp
May 2016 - $18.00
Very nice with paved roads and gravel sites. Long back in and very long concrete pull thru sites. On Hwy 90 and 2 miles off I-10. Many towering trees for almost complete canopy of shade. Only a few sites with satellite signals. Cable tv, antenna TV good, no wi-fi. Good cell signal. Nice pool and large on-site fishing pond with walk path. Good on-site restaurant. OK for big rigs. Mostly seasonal rigs but well maintained. Park clean and staff helpful. Will stay there again. - Pepper Dan
May 2016 - $18.00
A very neat and clean campground with mostly spacious sites. Some sites are all concrete, but ours was a level limestone pull-thru with a concrete patio. Entire campground is shaded with lots of huge oak trees and I loved all the squirrels running around. Mostly permanent residents living here, but all campsites are clean, no outside junk, and no real old nor FEMA campers. Friendly neighbors, a nice 12 acre fishing pond, new pool and a restaurant with good food on grounds. Sites did not have picnic tables, BBQ pits nor firepits which we don't use anyway unless grandkids are with us. Did not use laundry or bathhouses, so cannot comment on this. I recommend and will definitely stay here again - but will request to be further away from the noisy, busy highway next time. - Countrygal1

Apr 2018 - $30.00
While most of the sites are filled with 'resident' campers, it is a quiet & clean park. It offers basic services, no pool, playground etc. Hosts are very friendly & helpful if you want info about the area. We stay here any time we are in the area. We have a 38' motorcoach with tow vehicle & it all fits in most of the RV slots. Larger motorcoaches will find the park a tight fit & several sites have large trees to maneuver around either pulling in or out of the slots. Not all sites are level; we have to use wheel supports most times we stay. You can hear the local train while in the park but not loud enough to effect sleep. Wifi appears to have been upgraded & offers good service even in the evenings when many are streaming. - Peppercatt

The owner came to meet us and it was after 6pm, was an excellent host. We were treated very hospitably. The site was level and clean, Wifi was good . We didn't use the restrooms. Area was quiet . I will stay here again. Close to I 10. - wberg

Most 30 amp, a few 50 amp. Grass back-in sites with asphalt streets. All connections at extreme rear of site, so sewer extensions are required. Somewhat pricey for what you get. We were with a group. - AFChap

Jul 2008 - $25.00
Without going into great detail, allow me to merely state that were were treated rudely by the owner/management. The available amenities are in poor repair, the landscaping had been let go badly and the grass was un-mowed. We were infested by sugar ants throughout our stay. This is more of a long-term stay park with lots of mobile homes interspersed among the RVs. The park sites are not level as the park is located on a slope. The office doesn't keep an regular hours. Next time we'd rather drive an extra hour out of our way to avoid this miserable park. Why it is rated by Trailer Life I can't imagine. - oRV
Nov 2007 - $22.00
Although close to Mobile, this is not a campground. It is a full time trailer park with 8 sites for transients. The park is for sale and the owner/manager does not seem interested in renting out overnight spots. In fact, he was downright rude. No restrooms, no facilities and a very narrow road make this a poor choice for an overnight stay in Mobile. We will not return. - lmg

May 2017 - $23.00
This is a 40 year led RV Park that is softly long-term locals living there, some the full 40 years. It's not too easy to get into, and there were about 3-4 pull throughs for use by overnighters. They did have good water, 50 amp electric and free wifi, but other than that, not much else. We couldn't get but 3-4 channels on cable, but got 33 on our antenna so that was ok. I would only recommend it if you need a place to pull over for the night. We were visiting a relative who lived there, otherwise would not have gone there. The check-in people are nice and the man on the phone was very nice. - Ginny H
Aug 2016 - $23.00
Old, needs updating. Showers 1960s era, wore flip flops! Sewer 1 foot in air under neighbor's huge RV....very inconvenient and weird, didn't drain well. Nice shade, nice neighbors and check-in. If you pay cash, bring exact change, they won't reimburse you with change! High price for services provided. I have Passport America and was charged $23.00 per night. Limited cell and no TV. - ljontour
Mar 2016 - $15.00
While this is a "no frills" kind of campground, we enjoyed our month stay. While the majority of campers here are permanent, it was like it's own little community and everyone welcomed you with a wave. Marlene and Jimmy, the park managers were welcoming, helpful and just really nice folks. There are 3 washers and 3 dryers, a bit expensive at 1.75 each but they were good sized. We used the showers once (last day of stay), they were functional with good pressure and hot water, but while clean, they could definitely use some updating. Great little park for a couple of nights or a couple of weeks. - Outlaw Pilots
