Only spent one night here to visit the Rattlesnake Saloon and did not visit the bathrooms or the showers but the park was a nice quiet well maintained location with adequate space between the pads. All utilities worked perfectly and it was easy in easy out. What we found outstanding was the gentleman who lived and worked at the park in a RV and took care of any problems that arose. We had no problems while we were at the park however two days after leaving the park I realized I had left my water pressure regulator attached to the parks faucet. I called to see if by chance it was still there. While I was on the phone he went over immediately to the site I had occupied and confirmed it was still there. He promptly mailed the regulator to my home address. Now that's service! I must say on our three trips to Alabama all the people we have met were friendly, helpful and always willing to go the extra mile to make us feel welcome! We will be back. We camped at Heritage Acres RV Park in a Motorhome.

Need to update your profile on here. No shade. Would be nice to have a gazebo or at least picnic table on each row. Maybe a BBQ pit by them. I think adding a playground would be nice. Overall the clean and mostly quite is real nice a plus. Best rv park in this area. We camped at Heritage Acres RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

It appeared that most of the sites were seasonal or long term with a few pull throughs for nightly rental. Check in was easy. Many cable stations available. Basically an open gravel flat lot with some grass dividers. We camped at Heritage Acres RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Level rock sites sites and interior roads. Good WiFi and cable. Absolutely no shade. Some pull through, most sites back in. Nice laundry. Hookups at rear of site, need long sewer hose. Nice management. Stayed a month-would stay again. We camped at Heritage Acres RV Park in a Motorhome.

Basically just a gravel lot with hook-ups. No trees and not much grass. There is a field with some paths to walk the dogs, although it must be tick season because the dogs (and us) got a fair number of them. Staff was fine and the facilities are well-maintained. But it's just impossible for a gravel lot to be anything other than an "average" place to stop. We camped at Heritage Acres RV Park in a Motorhome.

Family owned - with family staff member in office daily. Park is away from hwy so not too noisy. Quite a number of long terms, but units are kept tidy. Park keeps a row of pull thrus set aside for people passing thru. This park is convenient for visiting anything in the area. The office has plenty of info and will help with restaurant suggestions and good road directions. We camped at Heritage Acres RV Park in a Motorhome.

Nice for overnight stay. Bathrooms had no shower curtains so water got everywhere, otherwise they were very nice. Site was level so we didn't have to unhitch in our pull-through. Good maneuvering space for bigger rigs. We camped at Heritage Acres RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

We stay here whenever visiting relatives in Sheffield. The only complaint is that the internet connection is very unreliable. When it works, it works well, but unreliability has been an issue for several years. Also, signage is very hard to see at night. and crossing the two lane highway, towing a vehicle, deserves caution. We camped at Heritage Acres RV Park in a Motorhome.

Rate reflects weekly price. This is not a destination campground in itself...however it is the only place to consider staying in the Tuscumbia area. Great point for visiting Muscle Shoals, Tuscumbia, Florence, Sheffield and Red Bay. Park is staffed daily, family operated, with a camp host on site. Staff and host are friendly and knowledgeable about the surrounding area. Ton's of things to do here, see notes. Park is gravel, sites are level, with grass dividers between the roads. Full hook up sites, water pressure is good; we used a 55PSI regulator. Electric is steady and stayed on even through a couple of thunder storms. We did not use the showers or restrooms, but poked a head in, they are clean and modern. There are a men's, a woman's and a unisex ADA room. The bathrooms/showers are private, one person, not communal. There is a laundry room on site, prices reasonable, $1.50/1.25. Dryers are timed generous at one hour. They even provide an ironing board and iron; thought that was a nice touch. Snack/drink machine, ice and a small book library on premises as well. They have a small camp store with some necessities. There are some workers and full timers here, but they are quiet and sites seem to be kept clean and neat. Park stays quiet especially nights and weekends. They have a few pull thru's for overnighters, but most spaces are back in. Wifi and TV is provided, The wifi worked great, we don't watch TV, so not sure on it. If they had patio areas with tables and/or fire rings...they'd rate a 10. We would not hesitate to stay here again. We camped at Heritage Acres RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Visit Ivy Green, Helen Keller's Birthplace; Pope's Tavern, the Standpipe and house tour in Sheffield (recommend walking it), the Rattlesnake Saloon, The Claunch Café at Spring Park, the old Tuscumbia Railroad station, the TVA Wilson Dam and recreation area. Also, the Coon Dog Cemetery is a MUST see. The Alabama Music Hall of Fame is a great attraction.

We agree, not a destination park but good for an overnight or two. Most sites were occupied by temporary construction personnel but this was not necessarily a negative. Park was very quiet an a ways off the road where the traffic was. We had excellent Verizon service and satellite reception. Convenient to grocery stores, gas stations, etc. We would stay here again if in the area for a short stay. We camped at Heritage Acres RV Park in a Motorhome.

This park is fine for visiting the area; however, it is not a destination park. The front desk staff are friendly and efficient. Our site was fine for a 40' motorhome and toad. The WI-FI was iffy at our site, and we tended to use our Verizon service instead. It is in an industrial type area so there is some noise during the day. It was pretty quiet at night. If we are in the area, we would probably stay here again. We camped at Heritage Acres RV Park in a Motorhome.

Lots of workers live here, but it's a great little park. Gravel, no trees, but our pull-thru was perfect and roomy. We had trouble with our air-conditioner and the owner came and tried to help and then gave us the name of someone who could help. We called him and he came right over and after about 2 hours finally got it working. Everyone was great. The laundry room was good and the showers and bathrooms were wonderful. Would stay here again. We camped at Heritage Acres RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Gravel roads and level gravel sites. Easy in and out. Long pull-throughs, but the majority of sites are back-in. Good for an overnight stay. Restrooms/showers are extremely nice and clean. Several long-term RVs here but they keep them pretty nice. Quiet park. No traffic noise. We camped at Heritage Acres RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a well kept park with all gravel sites. We stayed here for a week and found the owner very friendly and helpful. Also the restrooms and laundry facility were kept clean and well maintained. We stayed here in a motorhome and would stay again. We camped at Heritage Acres RV Park in a Motorhome.
