A nice park, just outside of Fairbanks. Nice and quiet with decent amenities. The only problem is the Wi-Fi. Was so slow and kept dropping that we ended up using our Verizon hot spot. Very friendly daytime staff. We camped at Riverview RV Park in a Motorhome.

Thank you for staying with us here at Riverview RV Park. We made major upgrades to our wi-fi early in the season, but still having issues in the evenings and mornings due to high traffic usage when we are at or near capacity. I know it is of no consultation at this point but it works great between the hours of 9am to 5pm. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

Nice enough. This park has fairly level roads and sites long enough for a 40-ft Motorhome plus tow. Some sites had picnic tables, ours the second night (moved to 119) did not. WiFi was fairly good except for high use times. Good Sam app showed this RV park with North Pole address, but it is actually half-way between Fairbanks and North Pole (10-12 miles to either town). You pay a refundable $5 fee for a key to the laundry and restrooms. We camped at Riverview RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Drive to nearby North Pole for a touristy Christmas experience - especially the Santa House. If you want to do things in Fairbanks, drive the extra dozen miles to River's Edge in Fairbanks, as it is just as nice or nicer and lots closer to groceries, gas, shopping, restaurants and more. Plus, River's Edge can make reservations for you for Riverboat Discovery, Arctic Circle tours and more.

Im so very sorry that you did not have a picnic table on your second night. Had we known, we could have had one to you in a matter of minutes. Other guests, on occasion, find it necessary to have two tables and take them from other sites without us knowing.

We ALSO make reservations to the main attractions in Fairbanks such as the Riverboat Discovery, Gold Dredge 8, Alaska Salmon Bake, Palace Theater and all the Arctic Circle Tours.

There are three convenice stations, one being on the property and the other two being two miles in either direction. Yes, you do have to travel 8-10 miles for shopping but that is the beauty of our location.

Nice campground, about 10 miles from downtown Fairbanks. Long pull-thru sites, level, good hook-ups though the sewer hook-up is near the back of the site (good for 5th wheels), picnic table with each site, treed with grass between each site and near the river. The laundry is clean and there is a convenience store near the property. We would return is we ever visit Fairbanks again. We camped at Riverview RV Park in a Motorhome.

Nice pull-through level gravel sites. Very good utilities, cable and Wi-Fi and we had Verizon cell service. Easy in/out to the park and easy to get around in. The young lady in the office was very nice and helpful. We would stay here again. We camped at Riverview RV Park in a Motorhome.

This was a very nice campground. Our site was near the River. The showers were private, clean and had very not water. Laundry was clean. Not far from Fairbanks or North Pole. Would stay here again if in Alaska. We camped at Riverview RV Park in a Motorhome.

The facilities are not elaborate, but are good. The sites were fairly large with easy access in our 42' coach. The staff were friendly and helpful. We were unable to hook up to the Wi-Fi during our stay and that seemed common among the other campers. The big drawback on the park and the reason I rated it so low is the reservation system. We booked our site for 3 days more than a week in advance and, based on our reservation, we made reservations for other events. Apparently, a caravan had also booked and when we arrived we were advised that we would have to move our coach on the 2nd day. Four other coaches were required to move and the caravan left at the same time creating a disorganized mess. It took us most of the morning to get set up in the new spot and we nearly missed our brunch cruise.

I would stay here again if I could get assurance that I would have the same spot for the time I was staying. We camped at Riverview RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

The fountainhead Antique Automobile Museum is a must. Best antique auto museum we've ever been to. We also enjoyed the Discovery III Riverboat cruise. Very professionally done albeit a little expensive.

This is our 3rd stay and our last at this park. When I checked in I asked about internet service and they said it was very good if you were within coverage of their two antennas--one being at the laundry room and one being at the far corner of the park. We were there two nights and rarely had coverage. Even in the laundry room it was very slow and availability sporadic. When we first saw the laundry room we thought the prices were reasonable ($2 to wash and $2 to dry), until we opened the washing machine lid and saw that the drum capacity is about half the normal size. Then if you need more dry time, you can only put in another $2. Three of the washing machines were out of order and there was a wait to use machines. The campground itself is nice--well maintained and level sites, although they are somewhat small. We camped at Riverview RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Stayed for 10 days. Nice quite park. Electric was good. Water pressure good. Grass between lots. You are a little close to your neighbor but was not an issue for us. Gravel roads but seem to be treated so there was no dust. Pot holes coming in. WiFi good most of the time. Slow in the evenings. Cable tv was good just not many good channels or the ones we watch. The lady running the place was very nice and helpful. Some lots have trees but do not cause a problem. There is a wash rack to wash your car and rv which is nice. Do that before you park. Close to all the things to visit in town. Lots seem pretty level. Would stay again if in the area. We camped at Riverview RV Park in a Motorhome.

Park was not fully open when we arrived. They lost power/water to middle of campground and their riverview facilities were closed. We laughed when we found it. I don't beleive one site as a view of the river. There is a gas station, propane station and rig wash which is very convenient. There is also a conveience store and the bus picks you up right in front of the campground. Could not get more conveineint than that! Sites are close but not too close. Open and no trees. There was a little highway sound but not too bothersome. BUT, since we are near the military base we can hear the revelry bugel in the morning! We camped at Riverview RV Park in a Motorhome.

Absolutely love it here. It was wonderful. The owners were very nice and the staff was very helpful and I will definitely stay here again on my next trip to Alaska! The roads were easy to navigate and the WiFi worked well. The restrooms were small but clean and I really liked the room they have for the campers, as the spaces were larger than many I've stayed in. We camped at Riverview RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is a very nice park. Neighbors are kinda close, but at least there's grass between the sites. Very long pull-throughs for big rigs. Wi-Fi was excellent and we were in the furthest site from the office. Cable was great and they had a lot of channels. Would absolutely stay here again! We camped at Riverview RV Park in a Motorhome.

Nice park, easy in/out of the pull-through sites. However, all utilities are at the back of the site so you will either have to disconnect and park at the rear of the site or have long cords/sewer hoses in order to hook up if you park with your toad still attached. WIFI painfully slow many hours of the day and sometimes completely unusable. Park is convenient to North Pole and Fairbanks. Free RV wash area after a trip up the Alaska Hwy is greatly appreciated, it is a separate site so if you decide to wash your vehicles you will have to move out of your site or do so prior to parking. We would return in the future. We camped at Riverview RV Park in a Motorhome.
